“ Great Broadcast! ”
Thank you for the Biblical exhortation to "come out from among and be ye separate" from sports and worldly entertainment! The night cometh, when no man can work. We must do the works of our Savior while it is yet day and redeem the time.

Exactly.

"But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death" (Proverbs 8:36).

I can't imagine what it's like to be the child of a mother who supports abortion.

Amen to GSMontana's and John UK's comments re: the King James Bible. It is such a blessed treasure.

Keep the name simple. Taking a mishmash name from an imaginary country between Africa and Iraq might be due to the fact your parents were knuckleheads.
I think you're on to something. It seems trendy today to come up with the most creative, imaginative name that no one else has ever heard, so it shouldn't be surprising that it would be mispronounced.

Think about the effect that a "unique" name will have on your children's future and how it can influence the way they're perceived by others. It may not be right or fair, but it is what it is.

I am an odd one, but I don't believe that women should teach scripture to children or to other women. Their own children would of course be an exception.
I actually agree with this as well. If a woman busies herself as a keeper at home and guiding the house, God-given responsibilities from Scripture, she will have more than enough to occupy her. There's probably already enough men who think "church is for girls and women" anyway. Combine this with the fact that many of the faculty and staff in schools are female, also. It rather appears things are stacked against males from the get-go, with feminism being the default position in society.

May God have mercy and help us.

Hardly a surprise. Women were created as the weaker vessel, but feminism has caused both males and females to forget this.

Awesome testimony of God's longsuffering and power to save, Chris. Thank you for sharing that. I always love reading about how Christ draws men unto Himself.

Hi Observer; thanks for posting the links. Good information, some of which I already knew, but much I did not.

Have a blessed day in the Lord.

When I saw this headline, my first thought was, "Oh, please."

Sin is the transgression of God's law. The pope doesn't get to redefine it.

If you notice they said nothing about fathers because it was started by lesbians.
I did notice just the mention of mothers and parents, but not fathers. Very telling.

They are haters of God (Romans 1:30) and His creation order and design. God formed Adam first, then Eve (I Timothy 2:13). Families are begotten of men; their wives and their children bear and continue the father's name and lineage.

Granted, all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). However, the god of this world is certainly busy about brainwashing people through mass media to make us think that all manner of abomination and perversion is OK, calling that which God says is evil good and that which He says is good evil (Isaiah 5:20). Submit yourselves therefore to God and resist the devil to avoid being deceived by his wiles.

There's no denying that the food here is supurb!! And yes, a mediterranean diet besides being delicious, is also very healthy. Unfortunately, even a mediterranean diet can be ruined by excessivly high levels of pollution, pesticides and growth enhancing chemicals. One bit of advice that I would like to give to everyone is to only eat fruit and vegetables during their normal season. If you eat something out of season, you can be sure that it's loaded with chemicals.
Glad to see you post; wasn't sure if you were in or near the earthquake. I've not been to Italy, so I'm unfamiliar with the geography.

I'm glad to read this. I've not patronized this store since they announced this ludicrous policy. It would be a blessing if they made the decision to no longer kowtow to those confused about such a simple, basic matter because of their rejection of the Bible.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Although I've heard you mention this subject in passing in previous sermons, this is the first time I've ever heard an entire sermon on the matter. Another seldom-mentioned issue is that professing Christians in the church are delaying marriage just like their worldly counterparts, leading to the wicked practice of dating and the kindling of inordinate affection. People would do well to marry in the Lord in their youth, with the help of their parents, particularly their fathers. Parents need to teach their children these things. A protracted time in the unmarried estate is an almost guaranteed recipe for sinful disaster.

I'll stick to being a politically incorrect Christian.
I think that's the only kind there truly is!

I John 3:13 - "Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you."

Mark 13:13 - "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: ..."

If you love the Lord (because He first loved you), that love will constrain you to keep His commandments. Being politically incorrect will therefore be a given. Let your light shine!
