Oh for the love of. The Birth of Christ is not pagan. The secular aspect of Christmas is pagan but the religious aspect of Christmas namely the Birth of Christ is not pagan. Grow up. Start thinking logically and analytically.

Sunday 1 December at my Baptist Church the sermon was given by Associate Pastor Neil and was titled "Dirty Jobs" from Luke 2:8-20. The sermon described the Nativity story from the perspective of the shepherds. After the 3 songs at the beginning there were Bible verses read and then there was the lighting of the first candle on the Advent Wreath.

Frank, The Catholic Church does not have a different Jesus because the Apostles and Nicene Creeds state "We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God". Does that sound like a different Jesus? The Jesus I have always believed in has been the biblical and historical Jesus.
Sunday 24 November at my Baptist Church it was Thanksgiving Celebration Sunday. There were songs and 2 testimonials of 2 individuals on what they were thankful for. Then there was a time of visiting and consuming treats. Then there were more songs. Then there was a video presentation of various members of my Baptist Church stating their volunteer work at the local homeless shelter for teenagers such as Bible studies. Then there were readings from the Bible. Then there was a video presentation of Pastor Steve discussing the process that was involved in finding an Associate Pastor. Then the Lord's Supper was celebrated. I partook of the Lord's Supper. Then after worship there was a soup lunch with various kinds of soups and desserts.
Good for that company. Every Christian business should have a sign that states "We reserve the right to refuse service to anybody". That would stop those idiots from filing a lawsuit against the business.
Naturally my Baptist Church has the Bible as the final authority in terms of doctrines. This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon given by Pastor Steve was titled "Victims...Or Victors" from Mark 7:1-23.

Actually Catholics are not supposed to be Democrat if they are conservative. All liberal Catholics should be told by their Bishop to either fall in line with Catholic teaching and be against abortion and homosexuality, leave the Democratic party and become conservative Republicans or be excommunicated from the Catholic Church.
This past Sunday at my Baptist Church the sermon given by Pastor Steve was titled "When A Little Becomes A Big Deal" from Mark 6:30-44. The sermon was about Jesus multiplying 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish to feed 5000 individuals.
