"The Atlantic Daily: Ron Klain Saw It Coming"Last January, the incoming White House chief of staff warned that Donald Trump wasn’t ready to handle the looming coronavirus outbreak." https://tinyurl.com/y7ftu3gk One of the short newsletters from the Atlantic, it mentions Fauci ❗👍 Spring, is several months off, Mike. Besides that even having four or five deaths a day from covid-19 is still too many and it will take an vaccine to bring it under control. |

AP/ABC wrote: Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf says he believes his country has failed to protect the elderly in aged care homes from the effects of the pandemic.Key points: •The Swedish head of state has criticised the Government's controversial handling of the pandemic •An independent inquiry found the country's aged care sector was ill-equipped to cope with COVID-19 •Tougher restrictions have recently been introduced by Prime Minister Stefan Lofven "I think we have failed. We have a large number who have died and that is terrible. It is something we all suffer with," the monarch said.... excerpt from, "Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf says country's coronavirus response 'failed'" https://tinyurl.com/y77yb33o It's a fairly lengthy article which you might have not guessed from the excerpt I took. Well see, Mike, I can bring up other countries who have messed up on their covid-19 response as well which has nothing to do with race |

BBC wrote: Dr Anthony Fauci has called this week's US vaccine rollout a "bittersweet" moment, as it coincided with the country's 300,000th Covid death. Speaking to CBS This Morning, the top infectious diseases expert said it's "extraordinary" that science has rapidly delivered a vaccine, but urged Americans to continue following public health measures. from, "Fauci: 300,000 US Covid deaths makes vaccine rollout 'bittersweet'"https://tinyurl.com/yccunmc9 Just about 7 seconds over a minute long video. The vaccine won't be delivered to most Americans for 6 months or more. The media was correct. |

Well, I agree I was at fault and not reading the article from Christianity Today--which is good. ---especially if you took note of the following. In it there was this reference:
Committee Members wrote: .... Q: One of the concerns raised over the resolution is the origin of these theories. Does the committee acknowledge this concern? Does the committee or the resolution endorse CRT/I? A: Yes, we understand the concern, and have benefitted from discussion with individuals who have expressed it. We want to be clear that we acknowledge CRT/I originates from people who are not Christians and hold views that oppose the Gospel. No one is claiming that CRT/I is Christian or that all of its cultural applications are in line with Scripture. At the same time, as with other secular theories, not every observation is wrong, sinful or unhelpful. But even insights that describe the social dynamics of our society accurately remain insufficient to address the sinful heart of man.... excerpt from, "Q&A with the 2019 Resolutions Committee about Resolution 9"https://tinyurl.com/yddzezko Mike, the above might answer your comment? |

Both the SA and this article are interesting You can always avoid Church if you're worried about covid-19 ❗
Carol Kuruvilla wrote: .... A house of worship with a good COVID-19 “IQ” would be reducing attendance significantly, disinfecting surfaces and keeping hand sanitizers available, and maybe even doing symptom screenings at the door, Chin-Hong said. They may think about reducing the number of singers in the choir, or ensuring that the choir members are spaced out. It’s also important for people to socially distance from others in the pews behind, in front, and horizontally to where one is sitting, he said. .... If the service takes place indoors, he believes face masks shouldn’t be optional, as some churches have suggested, but “absolutely mandatory” to reduce the generation of aerosols, Winslow said. “No one is immune to illness and death from this virus and I would encourage people to focus on that and let science, as much as possible, drive these decisions, particularly about reopening businesses and houses of worship,” he said. “It really should not be a culture wars issue.” excerpt from,"Some Say If Retail Stores Are Open, Churches Should Be Too. Here’s Why It’s Not So Simple."https://tinyurl.com/ya2olmb6 |
