And the idea that "young earth" creationists are some kind of modern minority is not true. Prior to Darwin, there was no "need" to attempt to reconcile the biblical account with millions of years. Bishop Ussher has shown in his monumental work how the geneologies in the Bible trace the history of mankind from Adam to Christ. It's not hard to believe in a "young earth" if you simply allow God's Word to speak for itself instead of imposing the lie of evolution on top of it.

I'm glad the writer of this article let me in on the secret that he was the leader of the Christian right. All this time I was under the impression that Jesus Christ was head of the church. And I seem to remember Him telling us the gates of hell would not prevail, so I think it will survive a Trump presidency. Jim, It's a shame more people don't listen to men like Robert K. Spencer. He is one of the foremost authorities on Islam. He should be an advisor to our national security officials from the President on down, but with the current occupant we have the Muslim Brotherhood in Homeland Security positions.
