December 25th 2016 falls on the Lord's Day this year. No, pastors nor anyone else have the right to cancel the public corporate worship of God. This is how celebrating an extrabiblical holy day robs God his prerogatives. We do not have the right to disobey his commands to satisfy our own desires and then call it worship. This is akin to setting up a golden calf.
Amen!

“ Great Sermon! ”
This sermon is Scriptural and spot on. More of God's remnant have had to come out among them and be ye separate because of the church's apostasy.

I'd rather be called by Christ's name than Calvin's.

I occasionally watch historical and Christian documentaries, but your point is well taken. Too many Christians cannot be sober minded because of watching films for entertainment.

Isn't she "Mrs." May, and not "Ms."?

I dislike that pro-feminist title intensely, but unfortunately have seen it used for married women by the media before here in the States. I suppose the British press isn't any different...?

Amen. If the Lord is trying to get his attention, I pray he will hearken. This will mean bringing forth fruits meet for repentance {Matthew 3:8}; i.e., coming out from among and being separate from the wicked rap music industry.

As has been pointed out, this drop corresponds to people not marrying at all but opting to live in sin and/or just fornicate instead. So I don't really look at this as good news.

What would be good news is for those who are living in sin to marry or go their separate ways if they're not going to do so.

No Facebook for me, either. I tend to be suspicious of social media because of its popularity with mainstream society.

Facebook doesn't really seem to be a way to redeem the time, generally speaking.

Mr. Yurich,

There is no way the entertainment industry could be the multi-billion dollar business it is if Christians were not supporting it. Too many who profess Christ are fellowshipping with these unfruitful works of darkness rather than reproving them. Consider that warnings against worldliness and idolatry in the Bible are written to believers {Romans 12:2; James 1:27; I John 2:15-17}.

It seems everything in your world is nonsense, dopey, psychotic, mentally deranged, insanity, off its rocker, etc. Small wonder some who post here suspect you may be mental.

You would do well to reason your responses from the Scriptures rather than hurl baseless accusations and insults like a second grader. Put away childish things and grow up.

Nothing surprising about this. It seems even many more of God's professed people look to the ways of the world rather than to the word of God.

Thank you for taking the time to explain from the Scriptures why God created marriage and that "loving each other" is not a Biblical prerequisite for it. How I wish more of God's people understood this! Marrying should be first and foremost about obeying God, which those of us who love Him--because He first loved us--want to do. If we love Him, we will keep His commandments.

When the AV1611 was published and made available to everyone, this brought liberty! The papacy no longer could keep people in ignorance and in bondage (having to rely on the priests to "read" the bible to them). Since Satan cannot eliminate God's word, he must pervert God's word through modern versions. The King James Bible is God's word in the English language.
There are more than 150 modern versions (all based on the Westcott & Hort Corrupt Texts) that have been published since 1885. These are ever being revised and changed for copyright ($$$$) and to further water down and corrupt God's words to His people. Eventually: to blend all bibles into an ecumenical one-world corrupt bible.
We must all be Bereans and research this for ourselves. Do not trust the "experts": the DD's, the PHd's the indoctrinated seminarians that have compromised on this issue. Research the Dean Burgon Society and his lifelong battle against the catholic/occultics Westcott & Hort. Research Sinaiticus and Vaticanus. Research the Antioch vs Alexandrian stream of manuscripts. In this age of rampant deception WE NEED THE TRUTH! We need God's truth.
Good comment. I automatically become skeptical and wary whenever I hear the title of "expert."

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter about the character of Hillary or her scandals. But, she is clearly the most evil public figure, Obama aside, that has ever stood on a platform. She is a woman and God’s word says that women leaders are a curse. So she shouldn’t even be considered by Christ’s church. If the Lord allows her to be elected, then it is simply Him pouring out His wrath on this nation.
Isaiah 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
Amen. This is why I'm not voting for her, plain and simple.

Is there no other candidates a faithful believer could with a good conscience vote for?
we know they will not win, but if enough people vote for a third candidate may be the main parties will understand just how out of touch they are with the electorate.
If there is a faithful believer standing they may even see how much they are out of touch with the one true and only living God.
But which ever of the two main candidates is elected it will be a judgment of God not only on the USA but western nations as a whole given this person will be in effect the leader of the so called free world.
But even then we must not lose sight that who ever wins Jesus Christ will still be Lord.
I know not of one, BRF.
