This is blatant propaganda, courtesy of the UK government and Brussels. What has sexuality got to do with whether some ancient figure from history was good at maths or not! I hope this curriculum perishes in the budget cuts.
Whoever wrote the article should try living in the UK for a few weeks. Our gas is currently $8 a gallon, and our cups of coffee (not that I drink it) are probably about $6.
It's interesting that when creationists talk about God, they are lambasted for not being true scientists, but athiesm seems to give its adherents a 'divine right' to talk about spiritual things of which they know nothing.
I'm sure that a homosexual soldier is every bit as good as a heterosexual one. But I do not think homosexuals or women should serve in the military full stop. Men may take needless risks for the sake of a woman on the battlefield, which they may not have for a man. And allowing homosexuals to serve in the military may affect cohesion and co-operation in the ranks.
I am sure even the politicians know this, but it looks like America is becoming the victim to political correctness gone mad.
I wouldn't be so hasty to judge Obama on this. After all the previous UK government allowed Islamic extremism to flourish here, refusing to ban groups like Al Muhajaroun. At least the US is trying to do something positive. Because if something isn't done, in 10 years time Britain will be an Islamic republic.
Unfortunately a lot of what this guy says is true, whether the authorities like it or not. Gay pride parades are less about homosexuals and lesbians achieving equal status with the rest of us, and more about pushing their own promiscuious behaviour down the throats of most decent folk. But the media won't report on that. And it seems will go to the extent of silencing anyone who openly opposes their agenda.
As the Bible says, "they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not", Isaiah 3:9.
This is just plain ridiculous. I found it very frustrating being wakened up at 5 in the morning by the Muslim call to prayer in Malawi. But I didn't march over to the mosque and demand they turn it off.
These people who demand Christmas carols be turned off at Christmas must have very little else to do with themselves. Get a life.
As Joash said of Baal, "if he be a god, let him plead for himself". And if he can't defend his own honour, then Muslim clerics should stop deceiving their own people.
I must concur. Although this story is very sad, and no doubt this trial is a double blow for the parents involved here, praying for a child while not seeking medical help is negligence.
The Word of Faith movement has a lot to answer for here.
Neeson needs to come back to Northern Ireland. He's obviously got starry eyed being out in the big world, and needs a good dose of reality to bring him back to his senses.
Praying and reading the Bible do not make someone a Christian, just as a parrot that barks doesn't make it a dog. A Christian is someone who has been "born again", who has trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. The Bible says by their fruits ye shall know them.
Politicians will claim that these revelations will damage relations with other countries, and possibly endanger lives, both of which are true.
But that is not the fault of wikileaks. The politicians should have thought of that before making such statements. Of course no doubt if the secret communiques of every nation were opened up, no doubt there would be a few surprises.
The old saying comes to mind, don't say something behind somebodies back you wouldn't be prepared to say to their face.
Since order = matter + information, will the sceintists please explain where the information came from to produce this order prior to the big bang. And since information cannot arise from only matter, which intelligence provided that information.
