Frank wrote: Well said! John has defended the RCC as not being a cult because he says they worship Jesus as God. Now, the popes have also said the Muslims worship the same god as they do. So, if the RCC and Muslims worship the same God, then they are in fact worshipping satan as their God. Amen brother. Anyone who worships a god that they have constructed to suit their needs and whims, are worshiping Satan. John the Fake, Mayor of Fakesville doesn't see that. It's unfortunate. |

Dr. Tim wrote: Connor, I didn't know foxes were your favorite animal! Perhaps you could share a couple of recipes with us. He wears a fox fur coat, fox fur boots and a fox fur mask. Connor goes out on Friday nights as Fox man! He's quite a sight! |

My Own 2 cents wrote: @Been Watching, Thanks for the detailed response. I noted a bunch of stuff that was off in those books, but I forgot since it was quite a while ago. I do know that in "The Visitation", the good guys are Pentecostals, and speaking in tongues, spirit slaying, and other wacko stuff was approved of. There also is a semi-graphic sex scene in the book "The Oath", which I thought was very inappropriate, especially from a "Christian" claiming author. Yeah, I remember that scene in the Oath, I wasn't impressed, even back then. Another thing I don't like is how writers like Peretti feel it necessary to fill their books with blood and gore and think nothing of it. I remember in Visitation, when the villain (who was masquerading as Jesus) was bleeding in that apartment after killing a cop. There were spirits in the room, and the whole scene just left me sick. Even to this day. What we read is supposed to be edifying to our minds and glorifying to God. He is also hooked up with a lot of New Age Christians. Just Google Frank Peretti and the New Age Movement. He had quite the effect on me as a teenager, I can assure you. |

Just a guy wrote: Watcher wrote.... If the States were safe(r) for Christians, I would love to move south to your neck of the woods. But it seems we as Christians are sitting in limbo right now, watching what God is going to allow next. I must say. The US is in "less worse" shape than Canada. But I am like you. Simply waiting to see what the Lord will do next to us... I keep hearing that but from what we up here hear (??) it seems that the States is worse. It's so hard to figure out what's true and what's not. We are seeing laws being made up here that are outrageous. If we aren't running for our lives in a couple of years, I'll be shocked. |

My Own 2 cents wrote: Absolutely agree with you, Been Watching. Question: Would you recommend reading/listening to Frank Peretti works? I don't know much about the guy, so that's why I've aaked. I have read only four of hos adult novels and as a kid, I believe every single childs novel he wrote. I don't know which denomination he's apart of, or his doctrinal stance he takes, so that's pretty much why I ask. What's your take on Frank? Personally I would not recommend them anymore. Before God saved me, I would definitely have recommended them. There's too much emphasis on angels, demons, taking authority over stuff in Jesus Name and the idea of prayer cover. In every book, he writes how the saints and the angels are weak until we start praying. Then we're strong!I don't remember very reading about God's sovereignty or how God controls the events of our lives. It's always man is in control and through prayer and faith, we overcome the enemy's plans. This goes against scripture. I remember reading an article about this all once. Maybe someone can hunt it down. It explains it all better than I can. |

Just a guy wrote: 73 years..... What a great accomplishment! That will become a rare thing in the 2000s for sure. Yep. That's a definite accomplishment in this day and age. I remember a couple standing up in church years ago, and they were celebrating 75 years. Me and my wife were just married. Amazing! Still holding hands, still in love. Great stuff! |

Just a guy wrote: Anne from the Wild West writes: Our winter has been a long winter at 5600 ft in Montana. Our first snowstorm was in September (16 inches) and it has just kept on coming. We still have 3 and 4 foot snow drifts. It seems this week we might finally be thawing out! I thank the Lord for His changing of seasons & know all this snow will give us a buffer into fire season. Down here, all of our trees are finished blooming and the wild huckleberry bushes are full of fruit. The blueberries are nice and fat, and dew berries (a type of wild blackberry) are ripe for the pickins. It was 78° today and not a cloud in the sky. If you need a place down South just give me a call. I can help you found a paradise....🌴🌴🌴😎😁 If the States were safe(r) for Christians, I would love to move south to your neck of the woods. But it seems we as Christians are sitting in limbo right now, watching what God is going to allow next. |

My Own 2 cents wrote: Been Watching wrote: "Imagine if he got his novels put into film?" It would definitely would be R rated, if not X. I don't think Hollywood would touch him with a ten foot pole, he puts too much Bible in his materials, even if he writes it pretty gory. That's the beauty of being able to read or even listen to his tales. You can calm it down as much as you need to, but if it's on TV, then you're stuck with the violence and gore. Hence why we like listening to stories rather than watching them. It's a built in safe-guard for our children's minds. |

It's also one of the scariest. Unless God works a miracle in the ol' fox, he will stand judged and damned one day, and none of his excuses will matter. |

My Own 2 cents wrote: Been Watching wrote: "Sounds like a Frank Peretti novel!" It does. I wonder if he could get some ideas from this. His book "The Oath" FREAKED me out! It's been the closest I've read to a horror novel. I seriously don't think Frank can write a book without it being bathed in blood. Same thing for "The Visitation". I had all of his novels at one time. I also had his novels on tape as well. Freaky stuff! Imagine if he got his novels put into film? |

My Own 2 cents wrote: Been Watching wrote: "How can we have any sort of confidence in his machine if he hasn't tested it first?" Oh, they've tested it out alright. There is plenty of sick, satanic, filthy government's in this world, who can for sure provide the testing materials!!! 😠 You can bet they have tried out plenty of people on it, they have a LUST for blood...especially innocent blood. Proverbs 8:36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Sounds like a Frank Peretti novel! |
