Praise the Lord Predestinate in Scripture means:-
1.to predetermine, decide beforehand
2.in the NT of God decreeing from eternity
3.to foreordain, appoint beforehandTherefore the idea that predestination which is the will of God, and freewill, the volition of sinners, can act together is not possible. Freewill, by definition, negates predestination! - But only in the ideology of those who do not believe in the sovereignty of God, such as the Papist and the Arminian or Liberal. As Chris has posted below the CofS has already rejected the Bible in favour of Sodom and Gomorrah, in fact they have put Sodom in the pulpit in Aberdeen. Both the Anglicans (Cof E) and the Church of Scotland have gone over to iniquity in opposition to Holy Writ. So banning the chastisement of God for children is no surprise - Again the CofS is in opposition to God.

Proverbs 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Even teachers are having trouble apparently! They will be teaching the children next that their is no difference between the "bull" and the "cow" ..... And then the kids will try milking the bull!!! "Big Brother" Liberalism is gaining enough momentum to take over the western nations; - No morals, no Christianity or church [except Liberals], increase in abortion, no marriage , no wife, no husband and definitely no Bible 'mythology' - Thus all authority to be destroyed in the community. Everybody legalized to do their own thing nobody writes the rules anymore!! Once formally established Liberalism should be the Big Brother ruler of all people. Any disagreement with the party line will send the KGB to your door for your re-education. And they all lived happily ever after! |

The men referred to were advocates of Higher Critical analysis and similar modernist trends; they were unbelievers who imposed their own literature-based ideas onto the Bible given by God.
