Hopefully there are enough sensible people who won't shop there anymore to send a clear message to TARGET Corp. Enough anyway cause them to reconsider their folly.
ccording to the website: “Public bathrooms are never enjoyable, but for transgender people and many others, using a public bathroom can be a highly stressful and even dangerous experience.” Why is the government catering to this very tiny minority of people and subjecting the far greater majority of people to a new stressful and potentially dangerous situation?
The bible clearly emphasizes gender distinction. The gender blur began in the 1930's when a Hollywood actress began wearing trousers - quite shocking at the time, but it eventually became the new normal for women of all ages around the world.
Hi Christopher! I've noticed about myself that when shocking news first hits the headlines I cringe with horror at seeing more evil and wickedness gaining acceptance in society. But over time it looses its shock value. Abortion for example is just as much a murder today as it was in 1973, Yet I have to admit I'm not horrified when I read about it every time anymore. I guess shame on me, because God is deeply saddened and angered at the death of each little innocent child which dies at the hands of callous greedy men and women. May God grant us all a fervent love for truth and righteousness.
I'm not trying to excuse this mother, but if I'm not mistaken here where I live country schools were originally located so school children didn't have to walk more than four miles to school. I've talked to old timers here and they told me the only time they got a ride to school was when the weather was especially bad.
Listening to a interview with Jerry Bridges I was struck with a phrase of his, "intentional holiness ". Yes, in a sense holiness is positional, but it also must be pursued with deliberate intention with the moment by moment choices we make each day. No one wants to see us succeed in this more than our Lord and so he sent the Comforter help us.
The queen as well any other person who calls himself a Christian and finds himself in a position of public authority or leadership will find it impossible not to compromise Christian teaching. Christ knew that better than anyone and that is why He flat out rejected the offer. Our kingdom is not of this world and the sooner we understand this the better off the true church of Christ will be. Jesus clearly taught the separation of church and state. I respect the queen but I would hate to be in her position.
Yes and we thought the Nazis were evil! Too many Americans have gotten the idea that murder is only a crime if the life of the victim is wanted or the life the victim is older.
What we have here is a situation where millions of "Christians" who feel led by God will vote AGAINST millions of "Christians" who also feel led by God. And then there are Christians who's conscience will not allow them to vote for either side.
I have had a lot of respect for QEII, she has reigned with dignity. I recently viewed her coronation and while the expense and extravagance was astounding it did teach a lesson about respect, order and authority; things that are fast being lost in our generation. Whether she is saved or not I guess only God knows but I do think she's a believer and not afraid to say so, even in a godless generation.
I own a smartphone and let me tell you it's a love - hate affair. I honestly believe the days before cellphones was a better time in many respects. That others are having second thoughts doesn't surprise me at all. I have noticed that older folks use it with more discretion and etiquette, but many younger folks who don't know life without it use it in a way that comes across as rude and inconsiderate. I think of a picture I saw recently entitled "Visiting Grandma ". It showed five or six youth sitting around their grandmother, but they were focused on their cell phone rather than the person they came to visit. Sad.
And by the way, Voting politically desensitizes Christians to sin because it forces them to compromise their Christian convictions to get a certain person into office who they hope will do the most good. The politician may be able to do some social good but the basic moral issues will remain unresolved.
