Does common sense not tell you that if you are yelling in public, no matter what you are saying, that this is a nuisance and infringement on ears? What if an atheist would of been "preaching" aloud about ungodly things, would Christians of like to see him arrested? Of course! When you go out and yell in front of a crowd, your forcing them to listen to you and Christians, if done the same would not enjoy it either!
If someone wants to wait at the DMV in the quiet morning and suddenly someone starts stammering into their ears, well guess what? You ask someone first if they can have a conversation with you and with a kind heart, you let them know about Christ,which is proven more effective anyway since the attention span is fixed. I keep seeing saved believers do this, get arrested and complain about persecution while they have 99.9% freedom to preach on street corners, to people in private, etc.
Now as far as getting arrested, the police officer broke the law, and he did not ask the preacher to go away first, and put him in cuffs right away. he did not assess the situation. He may have had a prejudice to begin with.
maybe we can get some cops saved!

Commonsense,are we not to obey general commands from the Lord? How many children are enough, how many? The answer is yes, we obey and as many as the Lord provides.

Bravo_777, do you not have faith that the Lord will provide not only space to live in but also the logistics of our daily needs? Remember, "give us this day our daily bread".

Realitycheck, 'So what' what Rome says, the Lord said "be fruitful and multiply". I ask again to busybodies, how many children are enough?

I wish I had more faith, I only have four children. My wife had a hysterectomy and now I can pursue my own 'SELFISH' desires. That is what it comes down to, selfishnesh.To those of you who disapprove of many children, you live your life, let the Duggans live theirs.

P.S. The reason that homeschooling was mentioned is because it is a news article and it is part of the story.

This comment is way late, I just found this topic. I would say that I have never read in the Bible that fasting is "Top Secret". I have never fasted much or often and while I would not brag about it I would not conceal it if pressed to "stay for dinner". I would simply say that I am fasting.

As to the migraine headaches after one day of fasting that may be normal for some people. When the body does not take in food it uses what is stored and purges toxins. While it purges toxins the body will get aches and pains and bad breath. Perhaps a longer fast will take you past the migraines. I am not a doctor, I have just read a few things. This might be worth more research to aid in your fasting.

This post stayed on topic, I am impressed.

Hopalong, Pro-gun Christian is a debater from way back. He fully understands the rules of debate and how to stay on topic. It is very easy to go off on tangents and bunny trails on these posts. Pro-gun Christian also has an understanding of the leading of the Holy Spirit due to some of his life experiences. While there are no formal rules to these posts it would be beneficial to stay somewhat on the subject matter and not turn it into a chat room with no guidelines.

I do not want to stray off subject myself. Women should not be drafted so therefore they should not register for the draft.

Margaret, I hope that is an alias and not a very bad coincidence that you share names with that evil,wicked woman.

If the information in your statement is only half true then that is enough reason for me to "KEEP & BEAR" my arms.

Jesus Christ is coming back soon I believe, I pray that He gives me the wisdom and courage to do what is right in the mean time.I will continue to witness at work and pass out tracts now and then.

How could anyone vote for or in any way support these Democrats? They are double minded. They are against the draft but support registering women for that same draft.

What about drafting pregnant women? What about a new mother? A man can leave for work or war, the woman's duty is to her husband and family.

When I was in the navy, women on board my ship simply got pregnant if they did not want to be there anymore.

It is wrong to draft women.

When women fight in wars it is because the situation has become desperate enough to warrant it (ie the resistance during WWII or modern day Israel)

Only a desparate nation utilizes women in combat, are we really that desparate now?
