Well, that means as of now I've divorced myself from all Coke products. As far as colas go I prefer Pepsi but Coca Cola made other products that I really enjoyed. I was thinking that my little boycott will not make much of a difference until I remembered that many restaurants, hotels, theaters, and businesses only vend Coca Cola products. Considering the cost of various sized bottles, cans, or cups of soda the money spent could amount to at least a couple of hundred dollars a year or more; especially if I was treating others. Its possible that the company could see a shrink in profit margins in some geographical areas.
The bigger picture is that commercial Babylon is making it clear where her immoral allegiance stands; now its time for the saints to make a corresponding stance for righteousness.

There is a great difference between being deluded and having a "strong delusion" caused by God. "Strong delusion" is the spiritual current even of our times that no one is talking about. To explain: I remember a time when I was a kid that I had to compromise and have a tea party with my sister so that she could later on play army with me. Sometimes I had to swallow my alpha male pride that killed the imaginary Nazis and put on one of my grandmother's wigs and sit with my sister for an afternoon tea with my little pinkie out. In those days we had parents to keep us kids "straight" when we boys strayed too far into our delusion and began to "soften" into our feminine tea-toddling roles or the girls hardened into army commandos.
Today God has caused a "strong delusion" to fall on those who should be responsible for upholding the basic concepts concerning gender and morality with our children (i.e. psychiatrists, politicians, parents, clergy). But they have suppressed and even rejected God's Truth for the lie that we term today as political correctness. Thus today we have a strongly deluded society enforcing the gender delusions of our kids.
Unfortunately their faith is not in God so as to repent so that they can be healed of their delusion. And what significance is Ash Wednesday to God anyways? None whatsoever except another reason to judge an adulterous church.
Disney is about to learn a hard lesson in moral economics. To the delight of their children billions of parents on nearly every continent have spent trillions on Disney's classic animations. A small percentage of these parents were willing to overlook the covert immoral comments and scenes Disney would implant in many of their films of late; taking the risk that it would be missed by their children. However, once they cross the line and overtly place immorality front in center where it is impossible to miss then they've crossed the Rubicon. Disney will discover that there remains a small percentage of humanity that will react with their wallets and purses by making a substantial dent into Disney's profit projections for this film. And not only that, some will be offended enough to stop buying Disney products altogether. They will no longer be amused with Disney's pro-homosexual amusement parks. And the three popular Disney pets (Mickey, Donald, and Goofy) will become starved for financial attention. I hope and pray that those who read this post and agree be the first to take action.
Farrakhan has the spirit of antichrist and has used his serpent tongue to draw many blacks from churches; and yet some pastors still welcome him to speak in their pulpits primarily because (unfortunately) they agree with his racist agenda. Both the Nation of Islam and the Black Israelites preach sermons of hate which somehow strike a sympathetic chord with many in my community. The irony is that real Muslims don't take the Nation of Islam seriously and neither real Jews take the Black Israelites seriously; and they shouldn't.
I think its demonic and supernatural that Farrakhan remains as sharp and witty as when I first heard him speak decades ago. My advice is ignore his words but don't ignore the man; he is very dangerous.
I read Christian fiction all the time. But there is a line to be drawn. Fictional character, locations, and situations are fine; but one should NEVER fictionalize the character of the One True God nor any of the Three Persons of the Godhead. That is blasphemy plain and simple. And The Shack is a blasphemous book thus the film will also be blasphemous. I had to contend with quite a few women at my church who were touting the book to all the women members as a "must read." My contention mostly failed. Black women really love this book because it was highly touted by Oprah. I put The Shack in the same category as The DaVinci Code. For the record I also have major problems with The Color Purple and Maya Angelou's Why Does the Caged Bird Sing because they mis-characterize God. In my opinion the writer of the article was right to put "Christian" in quotes as an adjective for The Shack.

Interesting! That brings to mind the Sadducees of Jesus' and Paul's day. I always wondered how they could be considered a religious group when they did not believe in many spiritual things (Acts 23:8 KJV "For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both."). Yet both high priests Caiphas and Annas (who condemned Christ for blasphemy and worthy of death) were members of that party. And it was that same party that spearheaded the attacks against the disciples in Acts. The party of the Sadducees seem to me to be an ancient form of the Democratic Party.

I can add that many of the modern day mass shootings were committed by registered Dems such as James Holmes and Nidal Hasan. And does any seriously doubt what party the crowd chanting to "fry" policeman "like bacon" was affiliated with? And the perps who took that slogan to heart and assassinated many of our peace officers, who are they? These are current events.

This is a favorite (if not the MOST favorite) verse for those who preach a prosperity Gospel. What they miss is the priority that the Apostle John places on Gaius' soul prospering by him walking in the truth (i.e. living and working out the affairs of his daily life using the principles of God's Word). Thank God that John recognizes that Gaius' soul is prospering in the present but his desire and prayer is that his business affairs as innkeeper and his health would "prosper" as well. It brought John great joy to hear from others that his children in the faith are walking in the truth of God's Word. And like any good parent the Apostle John desires that this child also prospers in all the affairs of life particularly in his financial affairs and health. Of course as an innkeeper Gaius apparently played an important part of spreading the Gospel by taking care of missionaries and other saints who needed a place to sojourn. When a saint prospers in these three areas then the Church can also prosper; but the soul must first prosper in the truth.

Is there some bill or executive order that Trump signed this week that I've missed advancing abortion? I watched the speeches at the March for Life and heard Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa say that she and others are redrafting a bill that was vetoed by Obama to send to Trump that would redirect monies sent to Planned Parenthood to women's health centers. And of course we should pray that he replaces the empty seat at the Supreme Court with a strict pro-life constitutionalist.
I read the link of the pdf and recognize that most (if not all) the actions that the advertisement calls for can only be done by bills sent to Trump from Congress, through governors and state legislatures, or by Supreme Court opinions. In the meantime what we need Trump to use his bully pulpit; and of course since bullying seems to a part of his nature than that should be easy for him to do. And on our part, we must continue to pray to the One who has his heart and the hearts of the lesser magistrates in His hands.
