Nat wrote: There was a 25 year old lady who got breast cancer recently. The doctors were confounded at first because she did not have family history on cancer and did not have that nasty gene that is found with aggressive breast cancer. She was also too young to have had such a severe case. Upon further investigation they found she had kept her mobile phone in her bra. We can be abit silly with our phones I think people are so addicted to their phones in america that if there were definitive proof about harmful radiation we still would refuse to believe it! |

Just an FYI, on this particular day there are 2 different news post where we are trying, once again, to convert JohnY. IMHO, way off topic... |

John Yurich USA wrote: Why doesn't the Republican politicians object to the Dalai Lama leading the US Senate prayers? John, John, John, when will you understand there is little difference between the democrats and republicans. They want the same thing, another term in office. |

Mike wrote: Barry, ultimately do you think the gov will abide with the law, or with the judge? Morning Mike, hope all is well. I have posted on SA for a good while and I have always said, I don't put any stock in any politician. They go into office with good intentions then they go south from there. To answer your question, he stated that the people of KY should chose whether to support gay marriage or not, not some federal judge... we shall see. |

Jim Lincoln wrote: Barry, I'm glad to see that your governor, like a kid at the dike, is trying to plug up the leaks in it. Probably in the end he will fail, note, ]]The Inadequacy of Moralism, but it's good to do what one can and stopping the spread even if in the end, he fails. Yes, your AG like politicians everywhere in this country moralists second in the face of elections. Quite right Jim. Both are democrats. Our Governor is a bit conservative more however. He's actually quite popular in KY. We voted to define marriage between one man and one woman in our state constitution, the governor feels that the people of the state should have the say and not be over-powered by a judge! |

penned wrote: would it really have been that difficult to give him a slightly different schedule? can we not try to respect one another in this society? Good day Penned. I posted on the thread about the phamicist that got sacked because of not filling a particular perscription. I made the comment that if it was corporate policy that he was obligated. i wasn't taking the side of the Corp. My company is very busy. our orders are up 300% from 2 years ago. We are preparing to add another forge line at a cost of just over 50 million dollars. They put every one on 12 hour shifts. Every other week we work sunday. they just announced that they are taking away our Easter holiday due to increasing orders. I work my schedule or lose my job and benefits. They could care less about my religious preference. They have to sell parts. The bottom line, corporations have no conscience. If you don't do it someone else will. |

GSTexas wrote: Great, now the homo-fascists are imposing their ungodly agenda on my homestate. Unfortunately GSTexas, you have been inducted to the club. Our own state fell a couple of weeks ago here in Ky. We the people of our fair state voted overwhelmingly in 2004 to amend our state constitution to define marriage as between one man and one woman. However, a federal judge knows better about what our constitution should include than we do. Sorry, this is becoming very alarming!!!! |
