Plain Old Tim from Possum Hollow, USA writes: "And I take back everything I said about nuking them. Instead I think a hundred thousand ordinary American citizens should stand just inside the border and hurl marshmallows at them until they retreat back into Mexico."
Mexicans like sugar almost as much we southerners do. Just a thousand of em' would wolf down every marshmallow you chucked at them.
Plain Old Tim from Possum Hollow, USA writes: Right on, BDF. Got some chilly weather coming in next week. You got parkas for all them ducks?
It'll be pleasant where I am for the next little while. When the bitter cold does kick in, my flat footed friends just fluff their feathers. In the meantime, the fox is snatching as many as he can to get nice 'n fat for the winter. How bout' them goats? If they get too cold you'll lose your only mode of transportation. I guess Chris000 isn't worried, grocery carts are an all weather device. 😉
Christopher000 from Rhode Island writes: Thanks, and completely agree. The thought occurred to me that there may have been more in-between the lines, but I never bothered to ask. Makes perfect sense...thanks.
No problem. I figured that would clear things up.👍
I don't at all stand with devils like Soros who promote the one world agenda which is just an on ramp to Marxism. Scripture speaks of the importance of borders and boundaries, both when it comes to private property lines and national ones. But it also speaks of the importance of treating strangers with kindness. Please bear in mind I'm not speaking of thugs and pond scum, but decent people.
Please understand that I was not saying we should accept anyone who wants to come. Obviously MS-13 and others like them are not hardworking and certainly not law-abiding. The US should have a very thorough screening process but one which is also as speedy as possible.
Our government should be welcoming all hardworking, law-abiding foreigners who want to enter this country. Aren't all of us Americans descended from immigrants anyway?
Yes I would think that nuking wouldn't be the Christian route to take. Don't get me wrong, I believe in strengthening our borders, but it should be done in a civil manner. Perhaps immediate deportation would be a better punishment for violators than immediate death? There are crimes that are deserving of capital punishment by God's principles, border flipping is not one of them.
Absolutely amazing! The issue of water management is one that is often on my mind. This device, if developed more, could be the key to unlocking potential breadbaskets like the Sahara and Gobi deserts, among other places. The fertilizer it produces could be used to further enrich the soil. And as was pointed out, it could be the future go-to device for disaster areas. This is what dominion looks like.
Frank writes: "And let me add that normally these folks resort to the same methodology that they are accusing others of doing. I thought I made a scriptural argument for the way I address Jim and I never attacked Steven Hamilton at all. His response was either I was not a Christian or lying to myself. AMAZING."
Funny how people come on here with condemning, harsh words telling the sheep to play nicely with the goats.😯
I see a lot of Christians show an excessive gentleness and "love" towards lying God-haters, but treat other believers like dirt. Hence why you have all these churches that are rotting at the core but have a thousand "outreach" programs.
According to research done by one of my older brothers, my mom's family is descended from Pocahontas's husband's second wife (the one he married after she died). No kidding. So while her death from London smog seems tragic (for me at least the first time I read about it), from a selfish perspective I'm quite grateful for it! Makes me think of Romans 8:28...
Slavery was absolutely a massive issue. But it certainly wasn't the only one. The division between the North and South was deep rooted and ranged issues such as religion, politics, culture, customs, economics, etc. Practically everything was different and the civil war was a venting of those differences. Please also note that slavery was entirely legal in several Union states until after the end of the war that was supposedly fought over it. Doesn't really add up to me.
Also thanks for that bit of info QC. I think what you say about a coming civil war couldn't be truer. This nation is far more divided than it was in the 1850s. And if awar does occur, it will be far more uncivil and nasty than the one that we read about in the history books. And if you can't find Mr. Tim's goat farm (it's way out in the boonies) you can always come survive off duck eggs and roast duck at my place. I'll be off with a guerilla band somewhere in the backwoods fighting for right so can just make yourself right at home.😉
Neil from Tucson writes: "Then what does your "many, many" mean in a round figure or powers of 10? You can't have it both ways, pleading ignorance after using verbiage like that."
You said you wanted cold hard numbers. Again, no one can give them when it comes to secretive killings.
