“ Excellent rebuke! ” I remember a bible study I went to that used Bill Hybel's "Just walk across the room." This was a push for friendship evangelism. It was a pathetic joke and can not be backed up in scripture. It was a tool of satan to get people to stop confronting sin and value friendships and relationships over the eternal souls of lost people. “ Wow. ” Was listening to a sermon on a topic I wanted more background on. I could not get beyond the credential touting, praise of men bragging and the speaking engagement schedule booked way into the future details....that had nothing to do with the topic. There is some quote about the downfall of pastors and the things that can be very real temptations. Power, pride, wealth, women and honor. We need to pray for our godly pastors!
