Douglas Fir, the current state of America and the whole world is very sad. The “Titanic” is almost completely under water and is sinking fast. At this point, the only hope for America and the world is the pure gospel of Christ as Lord and Savior. Actually any point in history. Apart from a serious spiritual awakening there’s no hope for anyone. We might feel patriotic or nostalgic, but the nation we now have is plunging to ruin. Now we need to focus our rescue efforts on those who have been able to get off the ship, on those who are still alive onboard clinging to the vanishing wreckage, and on ourselves before we freeze or drown in the darkness. I am using an analogy. I believe that there being any hope left for America (as the nation we historically knew it to be or wished it to be) is slim to none. Nobody can make America great again except for Jesus Christ saving perishing souls. It’s not just America either; it’s the whole world. It’s hard to turn a world-wide Sodom and Gomorrah around overnight. It’s hard to turn around the whole world as they brutally slaughter innocent babies in the worst holocaust ever seen on our planet. Sometimes the fake news will slip up and actually mention that the incident was religiously motivated and when they finally come up with a name of the attacker it’s like Muhamad or something. We recently had one at our Naval Air Station here in Pensacola.

Actually, many Muslims come to the States to steal, kill, and destroy in their pseudo-holy war of jihad. Look at all the terrorist attacks since the 90’s. What percentage are radical Islamic extremists taking part in jihad?
I stand with you, JAG! Whether it’s football, tv, or forsaking the assembly of God’s people(or a mixture of all three)—it shouldn’t be that hard to figure out that these things are, at best, not conducive to a healthy spiritual life.
Great women are great in character too. You have not been mocked with impunity. You are accusing others of being contentious, but you are being contentious yourself. You may very well be the one who is stirring it all up. You come across as an expert on American politics, religion, etc. And if someone who is closer to the subject matter dares to challenge your viewpoint you lash out and accuse them of victimizing you. You are taking things way too personally. I am not saying that I am perfect or that I haven’t said anything wrong. We all say things we shouldn’t have said. Even, you, Mrs.B, could be more gracious in your comments. Me too.
Dear Mrs. B, that is exactly what I was actually trying to say in reference to your lectures. You explained it very. What I am saying is that all you just wrote also applies to you and your comments not just to me, to my crazy fellow Americans, and to our comments. That is my answer.
I read the headline and pictured Swiss people air-dropping Christian chocolates after protests. My first question was, “where are they dropping them— on Wuhan corona virus survivors?” That would be really sweet as the shops are all closed and nobody can go out and buy groceries. Then I wondered, “why the protests?” How does that connect with air-dropping chocolate? Maybe some landed on someone’s head? That would hurt. But if you are starving in communist China, hey, not so bad.
Mrs. B. McC, some of your comments could have been less “insolent”. There is a Scripture in the Bible about grabbing a dog by the ears. And I am not saying that JohnUK, Mrs. B, the Doctor, or the Servant are dogs. All I am saying is that when you throw a rock up in the air it will probably come down. If you laugh at a hyena it can laugh back. Churning milk makes butter and wringing the nose brings blood. In Africa many huts are round. If you follow the wall around the side of the dwelling you will end up where you started. If you dig a pit be careful you don’t fall into it. I am not pointing any fingers, but if the cap fits wear it. If not, fine.
Dr Tim, I would differ with you as far as the average American. At least, I think an average rural Southern American is like Bigfoot but more intelligent and wears clothes when it’s not drunk. It lives in a single wide mobile home out in the woods and drives a vehicle that costs more than the house. Uses welfare checks to buy groceries. Maybe I confused him with Florida Man. Anyways, Mississippi probably has a few of them too.
