Infanticide is the next 'logical' step from abortion, particularly late-term abortion; this article makes that clear. The abomination of infanticide was brought to my attention several years ago. It appears to be snowballing; a 'logical' extension of abortion. Murder, pure and simple. 'Thou shalt not kill' means nothing to these people, because as Trelor points out, these people worship Molech; sacrificing to idols. Murder means nothing to these people. Just another sign of the (End) Times; the wedge being driven further between the people of God and the world. It's only going to get worse before our Lord Jesus Christ's triumphant Return.

Apparently 'unisex' means androgynous, that is, not gender-specific. According to the article, the Army claims the new clothing is more suitable for most women, and also for some men. So, their use of the word is probably OK, unless you were referring to something else, Chris?

I don't need to reference statistics to be able to say that we have precisely the same situation in Australia. I am among those statistics. Revelation 6:6 KJV
[6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev. 6: 6.

I meant more positive than your response to CC's post, not that CC's post is more positive than yours.

Thank you John from UK and Unprofitable Servant; your most recent posts are certainly advancing our discussion on prayer: its content, form, and our attitude to God in coming before His throne of Grace. Your posts are helping me immensely; truly edifying. My Spirit's response to Comprehensible Coherence was more positive, though, because if anything, it is the groanings within me that cannot be uttered I believe might be more likely to get through to God more so than vain, repetitive verbal pleas for more of the same. It's probably simply that I need more practice with a more 'formal approach' to prayer. Also, prayer can be largely a personal thing, so some people might be more inclined toward the groanings that cannot be uttered, others toward a more 'formal' approach. I do recognise my need to improve my formal approach.
Excellent posts. Thank you.

Linda has got it right. The glory of a woman is her hair. If it is long, as it should be on ANY, woman, not a problem. If it is short, as a man's hair should be, it is a problem and should be covered. Simple.

John from UK; Yes, in your last two posts, you are putting my pleas into a story. Your second to last post reiterates what I have been trying to get across; particularly that our prayers can most certainly be an affront to God. We must be very careful what we pray for, for the reasons you espouse. Thank you for your wisdom in this matter.
Michael: You need not fear using the descriptor of "freak shows" or even "tavern shows" for the Pentecostal Movement. I am certainly not part of that freak show, but maybe Nameless is? (Which Nameless, I don't know). I agree that that is one 'weird spirit', and anything but Holy.
"We desperately need real church-wide prayer meetings in our churches." What will be the focus and content of our prayers? What will we be asking of God? To put a stop to the inevitable; to ask Him to reverse His will? Perhaps we ought simply ask that His will be done, and it is done anyway. We are seeing God's will being done; perhaps we just find it hard to believe that.

The whole 'Pentecostal Movement' is a 'tavern show'. They're in gross error, anyway, so little wonder they're having problems in this area of being (in)correctly attired (at anytime, not just at church). The glory of a woman is her hair.

Nameless; for my part, God has shown me that not only is all this ‘gay’ rights stuff so completely out of my control, but the entire world is completely out of control (it appears to be, but God is at the helm), that for my part, the only prayer that I can up with is: “Come, my Lord Jesus Christ, come quickly now.” No amount of praying for the world is going to help, and every apostate church is worldly. This present world is destined for God’s “DELETE” button; better off putting our prayers and energies into preparing for that. These ungodly people have no idea what’s coming their way, or maybe they do, but they remain in unrepentant rebellion.

By the way, Nameless, have you read the news article linked here on SermonAudio entitled, “Same-sex marriage: Ohio judge opens new frontier for gay activists”? Particularly this part: "In his ruling, Black wrote that Ohio's same-sex marriage ban denies the couple equal protection, and that the state already recognizes other out-of-state marriages not authorized to be performed within the state, such as those between first cousins." How does that grab you? Remembering that these apostate churches are complicit in all of this same-sex ‘marriage’ stuff? What is God's will in this? He's already told us, hasn't He? How does the Holy Spirit move you on that one? What will your prayers be in this case? What does God want us to pray for, that is within His will, in this case? I am asking you to be specific about the content of our prayers.

Nameless; I ask you to please read, re-read, and read again the news article about which we are posting. How does it move the Holy Spirit in you? Pity? Disgust? Disappointment? Sadness? Depression? Anger that people could be so misled; deceived? Anger at such outright rebellion against God’s Word? All of the above? Do you try to see how God is working these things for His good? That’s all I’m asking you to do. Could these things be another (of Satan’s) diversions to lead people away from God’s Truth, or a way for God to get us to focus more on His Truth? Yes, most likely. Ask the right questions of God, and He will indeed give you the right answers. Ask and you shall receive. Asking questions of God is just as valid a form of prayer as any other. Ask Him! You seem to have implied that I have a different God than yours.
I don’t think anyone here is questioning the need for prayer (prayer at any time, and without ceasing), whether personal or en-masse. I am, perhaps, questioning what is being prayed for, why, whether those prayers are valid in God’s eyes, whether they are being answered or not, and whether we are praying for those things that are, in fact, God’s will. We know that simply ‘to pray’ is God’s will; that is not in question. But what is it we are praying for?

Many posts here, with Nameless leading the way, are implying that prayer for 'the lost' within the apostate churches is not going on, and that the state of the world 'proves' their position. Furthermore, they are saying that 'we others' appear to them to be against prayer. Wrong!
I'm saying, no, please look deeper into God's purpose in what you see happening. Do not stop praying. But do not think that because your prayers do not 'appear' to be effective, that they are not. Furthermore, as John UK points out, if you believe that your prayers are not effectual, then take a look at what it is you are praying for: your prayers themselves may be amiss. Surely our prayers are to promote the will of God, not our wills. So would it not be wise to seek to know the will of God in these matters before you set out to pray? If you're prayers are not aligned with God's will, then obviously they'll be ineffectual. Seek to know God's will first, then pray.

Spot on, John, thank you. Christ did not pray for the world. He prayed for His people. These apostate, fallen-away churches are obviously worldly, and we need not pray for them at all; pray for the people to come out of them, sure, but not pray for these churches per se.

Nameless: Have you really considered what Unprofitable Servant is saying? Perhaps not. How do you know God's people have not been praying, without ceasing, or otherwise? I can assure you, they have. So, what does this tell you? It tells you that God has indeed heard their prayers, and that which we see happening is exactly as God would have it. So, look deeper to see what God's Purpose is behind this. Just look deeper, please. Remember, God does use evil (Satan) for His own purpose, as much as Satan might like to think otherwise. For example, have you considered that this is all part of God's sifting, the separation of the sheep from the goats? The division of the wheat and the tares becoming more and more distinct, more obvious? The battle lines being drawn? Being shown that which is to be fought over/for; that which you are prepared to stand up and fight for? Think about it. Go deeper, Nameless. Trust God; He has it all under His control.

A fellow Christian friend of mine said this about 'gay marriage' generally, but is especially applicable to the apostate churches condoning it, and (about to?) practice it:
"If 'they' desecrate the Holy gift of God that marriage is for we Christians, then WHAT WILL WE HAVE (remaining; that sets us apart from the world)?"
Good question.

El Dorado: you hit the nail on the head! Yes, the USA is the last manifestation of Babylon the Great; and, unfortunately, Australia is one of its confederate offspring, another 'whelp' of Mother England. We're all going down. Come, Lord Jesus, Come!

Would that make them 'whitegoods' too? Pretend to respect, Frank? Yes, it is challenging to respect those who don't respect (the Christ in) you.
