why does this surprise anyone? I don't expect him to be a Christian.is he aligning himself with the tents of Sodom while the orthodox church remembers their dealings with the Bolsheviks and tells our fair leader that Russ'ns do not want the rainbow groups flooding their streets? and what will the evangelical community do? what message does the evangelical community have? where are the wurmbrands? |

while we point at the antichrist, it may good to remember there are many antichrists. here, you will see a singular mention of RCC while others extol freemasonry, which is rampant in evangelicalism..... an occultic, ritualistic, many roads antichrist religion.Christ talked of end time deceptions. if we always think its "in the future" we are sure to be carried away in false teachings. I do believe that every Christian must count the cost, not just muslems or catholics, we must "come out of Babylon", that is to walk away from our idols, even the ones we think look pretty and churchy-like. many on here have come out of Catholicism and I do hear them out. but there's many who just hear anti catholic teachings all the time, and to those I look at as weak. this is why, its a crutch. a spiritual crutch. the enemy of Christ was each one of us before He opened our eyes, and our culture is antichrist in nature now, most churches walking in the flesh. we are able to even dislike a group in the flesh. it is one thing to pray for people to come out of the works based catholocism and a man-made pope, its another thing to relish in pride, holding oneself above others.... with such pride, why would there be confidence in one's salvation? blessed are the humble of heart.. |

Ya Mike, I didn't know until the end of the conversation what kind of "medical" work it was, and very loud environment, thought he was just "anti" prolife, and very much into evolution and such.... because we did not know, and testified to the way of Christ, I think he was shook up. The Lord brought him to mind many times afterword, as I put two and two together... but yes, they really want to eliminate people for the good of the planet. no kidding, the whole b gates thing, he's all about that, they have created a whole "morality" around eliminating people, but underneath, if the conscience is left, when they hear that people can be redeemed instead of knocked off, it kind of bothers them, I guess. Its the Lord's work. |

last thing we need is harried pastors that have to work 2-3 jobs at low wages to get by, and then expect a good sermon on sunday.true teaching takes a lot of time, prayer, study of the Word. besides their availability to lead and encourage others, instead its reading a commentary fast and regurgitating it with sleepy eyes. seems that the church swings from one extreme to the other? first its mega churches and high and lofty pastors that are untouchable with the money pouring in, to the guy who spends years in study (ie not in a trade, degree that pays) to end up doing cheap work and somehow being superman in a depressed economy to take care of everyone and still deliver a coherent message. is there something between these two extremes? -- something like, I don't know, an allowance for housing so that worry is taken off his back? praying for our pastors today! |
