McCain and Obama aren't the only ones running for POTUS. Perhaps looking into the other candidates would be the best way to have a good conscience before God on Election Day. Ofcourse, Whatacrock Obamination will get the office, but we can say that we had nothing to do with it.

Received news this morning that Bentley and his crew have packed up ther "revival tent" and left Lakeland. It seems that the news media and discernment ministries (and Sermon Audio) have warned the sheep about this devilish fraud and numbers began to dwindle of those attending this circus. It was not financially feasible for Bentley to stay. So much for the false prophecies of this revival lasting in Lakeland til Jesus returns and of His appearing there! Guess the fire of being held accountable for his methods and theology was getting too hot for him to bear. Oh well, he is rcher for the experience thanks to those whom he deceived into giving money in order to receive God's blessings.

Oh, but Faithful Remnant, they are not under the law! None of us are, really. But they believe it gives them carte blanche to do as they will. I guess that little bit about upholding the law that Paul wrote about in Romans 3 is of no consequence to them. DOH! I forgot that they don't read the Word! Maybe one of their leaders will have an inadvertant progressive revelation concerning the responsibility we have toward the law. Then they can Trance Dance til it becomes one with their body...

Amen to your comment about those godly Pentacostal pioneers, Faithful Remnant! Sadly, the pentacostal faith has been attacked since its inception and it appears the enemy is winning. Thankfully, God gives us His Word - Rev. 3:9 -concerning Bentley and all of his ilk. One of the first thoughts I had this morning was that it seems the wolves aren't even bothering to fully dress in sheep's clothing nowadays. Checking my email this AM, I got an email from Reverand Fun that shows a cartoon of a wolf dressed in shepherd's clothing leading the sheep. The caption went something like it being easier to put on the shepherd's clothing to lead the sheep astray. I did a little chuckle on that though this is a serious matter. Next thing you know there will be "christians" claiming to be satanists leading the sheep! O.K., I admit that's a stretch. But Bentley is blatently New Age/ Occultic. I just finished reading about the symbols of some of his tattoos which he has had done since his start as a spiritual leader. Yeesh! I won't give the site - just do a search if it matters to you. Sometimes I regret going too far into checking out the heretics.On your earlier comment to me about being blessed of God that He kept me from Mormonism, well, God is good all the time, even before I was born! Amen!

Thought I'd pass this quote along by Pastor Joeseph Chambers, a classic Pentecostal who has an excellent article about Bentley at Paw Creek Ministries: " When the whole Word of God is not supreme, the Holy Spirit is not welcome." It makes sense concerning the Bentleyites coming against the Gospel being preached. I can't see/hear the video/audio of the site given but I wouldn't doubt there was sounds like a hissing snake being made against Pastor Tony as he preached. The devil hates the Gospel as much as the Light revealed in true believers.

I have been reading some of the articles over at deceptionbytes.com and Meshel, who was very much involved in the Toronto revival said that the congregants started despising the Word of God as far as reading and studying it. The people believed in progressive revelations and felt that to be more important than knowing scriptures. Since Bentley's revival is considered the Third Wave, Toronto and Pensecola being the First and Second Wave, they believe in progressive revelation, too. Meshel also noted an increase in alcohol and drug abuse among the church goers. On another note, Trance Dance guru Patricia King is the one who discovered Bentley and groomed him (tattoos, shaved head) and promoted him to stardom. C.Peter Wagner and Bill Hamon have publically rebuked her for her witchcraft and have warned people to stay away from her as she will not repent of it. Even heretics can spot a heretic sometimes! These Bentleyites prefer to know the Word through making it one with their bodies via Trance Dance than to have to sit down and read the Word (more fun dancing than curling up in a comfy chair in a quite time of reading and prayer, y' know!). That is why Jodie preferred her poem revealed by that "river of truth" flowing from her than Daniel Lee Ford's quoting of scriptures.

Jolene, Jodie is insistant on worshipping the devil. She refuses truth. I need not pray and grieve for her anymore since God has heard my heartfelt prayers already. God's mercy and love is eternal. His patience is not. Note how He patiently endured the Israelites dancing and partying before the Golden Calf! We are talking about Trance Dance which is no different. None of us are to have anything to do with her. It would be different if she were not willfully ignorant and if she had a desire for truth. One of Jodie's favorite teachers is Patricia King. This woman is going around promoting Ekstasis Trance Dancing. They tell you that you need not study God's Word anymore but trance dance til it becomes one with you. Now I know why Jodie mentioned Peter in a trance. There is more on this at discernmentbytes.com. We got dragged into debating the enemy of Christ! Jodie is intent on being His enemy as she desires not the truth. My heart will no longer grieve for her or pray for God's mercy on her. I have prayed enough. I will praise God again that He delivered me and that by His grace I did not go as deep into the pit of hellish devil worship as Jodie is.

God bless you lyn and faithful remnant! In Paul's day it was not unusual for people of other languages to meet together with Greek or Hebrew as the common language of them all. So imagine you are meeting with the saints and hear your own language spoken by someone who has never learned your home country's language! You or someone would then interpret for those who did not know what was said. The power of God at work receiving glory to His name! I heard of a Chinese woman sitting in a Calvary Chapel church and a man stood up and started preaching the Gospel in her language. She interpreted and was astonished that the man had never learned even one word of Chinese. She gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ right there! When Paul said that he had the gifts of tongues more than anyone else I believe he was talking about being able to communicate to the people of whose countries he went to as a missionary. Pentecostals like to take one time events in the early church and make a practice of it. Jodie brought up Peter going into a trance. It was a one time event. But the Pentecostals (United do this )want to make it a practice. Mormons! LOL! My mother's side is all Mormons! I have cousins innummerable! Thankfully my grandpa knew it was false and bowed out.

..."lower in the scale of the spiritual masters" WOW! That is exactly how the Kundalini works. They also pass on the anointing from spiritual master to student. Sound familiar? We don't pass on the anointing today for we have the Holy Spirit with us at conversion. So you can imagine what anointing from whom one is receiving! Hint: he is God's enemy. Also, I believe in speaking in tongues. Just as Peter and the disciples did on Pentecost- in known languages of the people who were gathering in Jerusalem from around the region. The tongues were understandable by the people but not to the disciples, nor did they study these languages before speaking them. That's the supernatural gift of God. Rarely needed today. Pentacostals speaking in tongues without knowing what they are saying could very well be blaspheming God's name while they think they are praising Him. There's a bit more to it than that. Now, for the gift of prophesy! It is valid for today in the sense that we prophesy everytime we rightly share the Gospel. Do we not let a person know their eternal state with or without Christ? Most of the "prophecies" in the church today are ooey-gooey, warm fuzzies that are psychic and not from God. Kundalini in the church - SCARY!

San Jose John, I will risk being worn down for the sake of an unsaved/ deceived soul coming to Christ. It was a blog that I participated in back in early 2006, where it was me against "them", that got me to see that I was deceived and did not know the scriptures as per true interpretation. I am glad I was challenged by them. I am, to this day, grateful to our God for leading me there. I am glad they risked being worn out dialoging with me. I am even glad that they got harsh with me. I, unlike Jodie, searched the scriptures and found myself wanting. Jodie, however, did not offer us scriptures to prove Bentley is of God. Most of the posts were about that and her wacky scripture interpretation. She could have ended it long ago if she would have given scriptures.I don't think any of us could be worn out if we do as Jesus says, to wipe the dust off our feet of them if they do not receive the Gospel. Once Jodie proved that she is unsaved,the discussion did wind down. Until then, when it was only questionable, we were contending for the faith. Something I will gladly do, especially with Pentacostal charismaniacs.

Todd Bentley is no man of God. Jodie and her brethren who follow Bentley reveals the kind of disciples he raises up. Those who do not know scriptures and therefore cannot provide proof that God approves of their idol's methods. All they know to do is the same old tired thing- accuse those of us wanting scriptures of being Pharisees and deceived. They judgmentally judge us as gossips and being judgemental. Thanks, Jodie, for proving our points about Bentley. Remember this...Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to the ways of God. Truth will remain true whether you believe it or not. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see and none so deaf as those who refuse to hear. One can be sincere and sincerely wrong. Only fools despise correction. It was by God's will that you came here so He could open your eyes to this Bentley that you so revere. You have refused His dealings with you. However, God trusts us to pray for you, else He would have sent you elsewhere. He knows that you are a child of the devil who has not truly come to repentance and made Jesus Lord of your life. He knows that you do not know Him one whit. We know it, too. He is drawing you to the truth, to His son, Jesus. That is why you have been here and stayed as long as you have.

Isaiah speaks of the Branch of David, the physical descendant of David. The Jewish Messiah as the Jews would call Him and understand Him to be. Jodie, stop watching TBN for your theology. You only ape them instead of reading scriptures for yourself. You are an infidel to nth degree. You do not know God, the only true God, nor His Son whom He has sent, wherein lies eternal life. Guess what book, chapter, and verse that is in.

Jodie says, "Just like Todd I was radically saved and I hadn't been to a church in my life and Jesus just showed up with NO sinners prayer first..." and this, " I would rather be led by the Holy Spirit than by the head...". On the latter statement Jodie disobeys God in that she does not worship Him with all her mind. No wonder the poor thing has been deceived- she is empty- headed. Truly she has prayed for the fire to come down and has received God's judgement of being deceived and deceiving. That goes for everyone who has prayed for the Baptism of fire. John the Baptist said Jesus baptizes with the Spirit (positive) and with fire (negative). He was speaking of contrasts, not similarities. May this day be the day of your salvation, Jodie.

Amen to that, Faithful Remnant! Jodie is presumptuous saying that I have studied too many religions, How does she know? Well, she is wrong on that. Outside of the Pentacostal church I have attended Calvary Chapel and Interdenominational churches since my conversion in 1992. She comes here to rebuke us for being judgemental and accuses us of being deceived. Yet, she is the one who cannot tell the difference between being judgemental and being discerning and warning the brethren. Jodie is not credible because she has been corrected about her knowledge of scriptures. Shouldn't the Holy Spirit have shown her that Jesus did condemn Judas in judgement? He did for Daniel Lee Ford. He did for me. He did for other commentors. But not Jodie. Does she humbly admit she was wrong about Judas being judged by Jesus? No. She continues to butcher more scriptures. She is unteachable and arrogant. She knows more than we do about the truth. It just flows from her like a river! Too bad it gets dammed up when asked for scriptures to prove that hitting and punching people is the way God would have people healed. Folks, she stands by Is. 11:3- she considers the evidence against Bentley hearsay and false. We who have seen the evidence, that even came out of Bentley's mouth, are the liars. Hmmm.

Jodie, I am an ex Pentacostal charismaniac. Praise God for His deliverance and leading into truth! I have experienced it all save for barking like a dog, quacking like a duck, and going into travail. I call nothing occultic willy- nilly. I was just like you are today. I, too, butchered scriptures to support my beliefs in the stuff. Perhaps you should pray for God to lead you into all truth and expose all the lies you are believing as truth. You, too, will be amazed! You will find out that your God is not the only true God, as I did. You will also have the eyes of your understanding opened to the true meaning of scriptures. Then you will truly hear God's Voice. Do the research into New Age and Kundalini in the churches. Go on, I double-dog dare ya! Hey, its your soul. Its your eternity.

Jodie, I take it you work in a casino. It reminded me of the time when my husband wanted to take me to our favorite bar for my birthday shortly after my conversion. I thought it would be great to witness Christ to all those I knew there so I went along with him. As soon as we walked in, I felt such grieving and conviction that I was not pleasing God. We sat there having a beer and when it came time for another round, my husband said "no" to it. That was unusual so I asked dear unsaved hubby what was wrong. He said he felt he didn't belong in there anymore. He could not explain why he felt that way. But I knew what had happened. I have quit jobs that grieved me much to be there. I can pray for folks without having to work with them. Or for them. What a witness for Christ you are, Jodie. Remember that Jesus did not go to the brothel to minister to the prostitute. She came to Him. And He showed no approval to Zaccheas. You are right on one thing where I am concerned, I don't approve of your witnessing Christ while working at the Blackjack table. It shows that one can be of the world and worship God, too. It is called being double-minded. Friend to the world, enemy of God. It really doesn't exhibit the life changing work of God through Christ. It only makes christianized reprobates.
