Silofolous
What makes you think it is a good thing to make abortions safer for the mother? That's like saying we should make rape safer for the rapists. NO. The murder of a child Should NEVER be safe EVER.

The even more disturbing aspect of this story is the fact that they thought it was a good idea to use Bible sales as a fundraiser for anything. How can we take something as precious as the Word of God and turn it into a way to help breast cancer. There are some things that should stand alone, Holy, sacred.

Yes Mark you are quite right. No matter the other issues, we must choose to protect life. If there is any chance at all of saving some of the unborn, then we must act.

I say let them strike. Everyday the kids are not sitting under that Godless public education system is one less day of propaganda that they absorb. The best thing for all of the kids would be the abolishing of the whole system altogether anyway.

KJVONLY I agree it is just a matter of time. As Christians, we need to break free from the idea of "church" that we are in here in the west. Around the world the body of Christ is organized very differently.

The article said,"As the Board revoked subsidies, it simultaneously announced that it intended to raise rental prices for all tenants by 43.7% effective January 1, 2013. Between the rental increase and the loss of subsidies, most churches will no longer be able to afford to rent school buildings. Many of them will have nowhere else to go."

I am not shocked by these things starting to trickle down all around us, merely a first fruits of the harvest we have sown over the last 40 years in western nations. The truth is, though, that this might be the exact thing these churches need to be revived. Why not move to home congregations?

Frank, the issue for me isn't anything but the abortion issue on this article. Does the link shed some miraculous light that makes all of these dead babies go away? I am not a Romney supporter. To me this THE single most important dividing line issue, especially since neither party has a true Christian candidate.

Jim you are doing what the dems always do- you skirt the issue by attempting to highlight things that are not even a part of this discussion.
Do you or do you not see that the democrats are unequivocally the party of death now. They have officially removed God and have begun the most aggressive pro abortion campaign ever. So instead of try to turn this on Romney, why not just admit the truth about Obama and his pro murder policies.

Adesegun I fail to see why you want to condemn this lady to hell. She is merely exposing the truth. Paul had some good words concerning this:
"Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; (Ephesians 5:11 NASB)

Ha! Touché Roder. That was good.

KJVOnly don't worry sodomy is rampant in Muslim nations. The view women as procreation and young boys as recreation. We saw that type of thing a lot over in Afghanistan. The like to indulge on Thursday, as if that makes it better, before they worship on Friday.

The truth is that unless a kernel of wheat does and falls to the ground it won't sprout up new life. They are running into the problem that many of us in the west seem to have- we love our own lives more than the calling to take the gospel to all nations. May we all look to the example set by the Moravians and be willing to not let safety be our highest concern.

Just like many other instances in the gospels, Jesus always tells people exactly what they need to hear for their good and God's glory.

This fact alone should forever put to rest whether a Christian, and I mean a true believer, could ever again call himself a democrat or cast a vote for one.

You guys are splitting hairs over things that are not really important. 1. Being totally depraved doesn't mean that we can do no good, just that every part of us is sinful and depraved. Romney is still bound in his depravity, but still able to some good. 2. The good fruit that is being discussed by Christ is not just external acts, but also goes to the heart level. Is Romney opposing these things in order to gain his salvation or because he has been redeemed. I think we all know that Mormonism is works based so while his external works may appear good, like the Pharisees, yet he is still attempting to earn a right standing which we all know is not going to get him anywhere.

You know Angela that sounds great, but that will not be the case until we see Him face to face. In the mean time, every congregation has both mature Christians and babes and everywhere in between. I think this is part of God's ingenious plan to help us learn to love people that aren't perfect, who we don't even really like at times. And they have to learn how to love us. Even the disciple, who physically had Jesus at the center of everything, where seen bickering and boasting among themselves. Unlike the person in the article, we don't go to the body exclusively for what we get, but rather how we can lift others up in the process.
