JIM! Jim Lincoln. Are you saying "Mike, church workers, if that is there only salary is working for the Church and the head has a confiscatory wage, perhaps the government has to step in, to make sure these churches are behaving Christian" the government should take the roll of the Holy Spirit? Or, step up as the Head of Christ's church? It seems to me that churches exempted from paying taxes has caused more problems than realized at present. So why look to the government to settle disputes? Our Savior said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst." If all is being done to the glory of God then there would be no disputes. We would relinquish our rights for the sake of the other. |

Rodney K. wrote: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV) Hang in there, Bro. C-pher/3-O The truth is that these "evangelicals" don't know the difference between religion and righteousness. Many are in the pulpit to make a name for themselves; not to exalt the name of the LORD. |

PS wrote: He that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out! So be careful brothers and sisters in the LORD you don't snuff out the smoldering flax “A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.” ??Isaiah? ?42:3? ?KJV?? http://bible.com/1/isa.42.3.kjv PS, PS, PS,thank you for such encouraging words from our God's word. What you have posted indicates that the word of God is alive, sharper than a two-edged sword. I have been quickened by it; just as the Psalmist prayed. Lord, quicken me according to Your word. This is what we need - what God's word reveals to man. The revelation of God through His own word. PS, PS, PS, I thank God for breathing His word out and through you. I feel renewed; restored, motivated, energized to seek His face with greater fervency. |

Now, Wayfairer pilgrim, don't say "Blame the guy who can't get reelected and whom we will forever be reminded of our downfall." Instead, stand back and see what God is doing in the world and the Church. Guard what He is doing in your very own life - not causing you to blame people. This is not the job of those who have been given Truth in the inward parts. The reasons believers don't need to go to the movies is because the entire world is God's stage. Hide His word in your heart, eyes upon His orchestrating events already proclaimed in it; the Word. It is forever established. It abides forever. Thank and praise Him for revealing His secrets to His own. |

Did you notice the loud applause of student's agreeing with a presidential candidate, speaking at Liberty College, VA, that women have a right to their own bodies?Do they really believe that all souls are the Lord's at Liberty. Who then owns the embryo? The woman or the state? It goes on and on. Confusion belongs to us and is rightly earned by the wicked and unlearned. Daniel prayed "We have sinned ... ." Yes, God's people have sinned greatly; not being clear of what the Word of God teaches. How long willl this willful ignorance prevail? How long will we keep directing attention to what the world is doing instead of what our God is doing in the world? |

Jim Lincoln wrote: ah, SteveR, like John Y, ]]Is A Catholic Christian An Oxymoron? The answer is Yes by the way. The anti-Christ is the one who speaks of everything except Christ and what he has done for man. They distract people from the God-man, the Redeemer, the righteous Judge, the Creator, the Word become flesh, etc.He, CHRIST, said, "When the Son of man is lifted up ..." Think of what happens in the heart of the unbelieving rebel when he hears of Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, righteous, and judgment. You and I cannot do it. The serpent and the Christ took care of Satan's venomous bite. Go and understand what this means. Man does not need any more information. He needs Christ. He does not need to know what the pope is doing or thinks. This only makes one think that he is more righteous than the pope. He needs Christ. Jesus said, "When the son of man is lifted up, then they will know that I am he." The anti-Christ will not do this. The anti-Christ raises up things obscuring our vision of Christ. The AC distracts us from seeing the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The words Jesus speaks are spirit and life. Speak life |

just u wait wrote: The real shock will come when they discover the 2000 year old wiring for the cities electrical supply. As SteveR will tell you that really was fitted by the Seleucid empire. They seem to be discovering a lot these days. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago they discovered the original Ten Commandments; or something like that? Will the price of lead exceed the price of silver and gold soon? Watch and pray. |

The audacity takes my breath away... "extend his powers of forgiveness"?!?! These woman will need a mighty work of the Holy Spirit to save their souls if they agree to fall under the blasphemy of this so-called "forgiveness". Lost souls! Unprofitable Servant, I appreciate the manner in which you addressed sc. Now, re sodomy; it stands apart from all other sins and yet it incompasses all other sins. It stands apart because it is an unnatural act. It is perverse. Adultery, though a sin which God hates as much as other sins, is a natural act between male and female. God made them for one another. Sodomy is the one sin for which an entire city burned to the ground. I don't have to acknowledge that I am a sinner. But what group of sinners have flaunted their behavior in the manner sodomites have. Liars, whore mongers, murderers, thieves, adulterers, etc. have not banned together flaunting their sin. They lie about the Creator designing them that way. I guess soon, if the Lord tarries, murderers will say they were created to kill. Thieves could justify their behavior. Every sexual sin has had it time in the limelight. But to justify the behavior, to parade, to demand, and now wanting to marry is truly an abomination and UNFRUITFUL. MULES CANNOT RE PRODUCE. Sodomy is the most difficult sin to overcome and the church community is praying that God pours out a spirit of repentance to sodomites, adulterers, rapists, and all who are still lost in sin along with believers who are still struggling with sin. |
