Good morning Penny..yes it is quite puzzling...but perhaps he had someone else in mind...will give the benefit of the doubt as I sometimes don't articulate as I should I too enjoy "good old" Matthew Henry he is one of my favorites that I usually am blessed by his commentary. Am enjoying reading your comments also as we are very similar in our escatalogical beliefs
Concerning Daniel 6:10....Matthew Henry writes..."We must not omit duty for fear of suffering, no, nor so much as seem to come short of it.In trying times great stress is laid upon our confessing Christ before men(Matthew 10:32) and we must take heed lest,under pretense of discretion,we be found guilty of cowardice in the cause of GOD.If we do not think that this example of Daniel obliges us to do likewise,yet I am sure it forbids us to censure those that do, for GOD owned him it".
