Too bad a rule takes 440 pages to say what could be said in 440 words. Or less.

"President Xi Jinping urged China's youth on Tuesday to be loyal to the Communist Party as he sought to whip up patriotic sentiment in a nationalist speech marking the centennial of a student protest."

What is it that leads governments to confuse loyalty to government with patriotism?

What is an "Easter worshipper" anyway? Someone who worships "Easter" which today is synonymous with the Ressurection? Someone who joins with others to celebrate the Ressurection on Resurrection Sunday? Are we then too "Easter worshippers" because we remember and celebrate the reality and centrality of the Ressurection? Is this a slang term from the Islamic community?
No, from the left. Fmr. pres. Obama, and Hillary Clinton both used the term "Easter worshippers." The have no sympathy for those who might be Christian, even in a terrorist attack, so they won't say "Christians."

The Dems have nothing, and their desperate efforts are showing them for who they are. May they continue to act out into the 2020 season.

Maybe it's stealthier than they thought.

Missing the point extravaganza. I guess it's ok, as long as the churches bombed are RC. "...and then they came for me..."

Government of, by, and for the judges? Mandated medication is sick and Nazi-esque. The argument that it is safe and effective is irrelevant, even if it were 100% safe and effective, which it is not. The issue is the ordering of it. Today the means of conquest is not tanks and aircraft, it's "public health and safety." Why do you support barbarians, Jim?

Now JT, let me say that I do not believe the way we do The Lord's Table today is anything at all like what Jesus had in mind when he said, "This do in remembrance of me." And I do not believe that the early disciples would recognise a lot of what we do in the name of Jesus. We gladly censure Catholicism, yet neglect to observe our own faults.
I agree, it was a communal meal, with real bread and real wine. Not sure why that should entail annual remembrance of a particular day that occurred prior to fulfillment of the law by the Lord. All of Jesus' days prior to the cross, though written in the new testament, were under the old covenant, were they not? And his sacrifice brought to an end the shedding of sheep's blood, no?

JT, Jesus celebrated the passover every year for about 33 years.
Luke 2:41 KJV
(41)  Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
It was at such a passover, that he taught us to make use of the bread and wine in order to remember him in his death.
..
Note,
Exodus 12:14 KJV
(14)  And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
Called the feast of unleavened bread.
Compare with 1 Cor 5:8, Therefore let us keep the feast.....
He did indeed observe the Passover for about 33 years, being under the law until the cross, when he became the Passover. What was it he said about remembrance?

1 Cor 11:24,25
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Where is biblical warrant to remember the OC Passover? No longer remembering delivery from Egypt to a promised land, but delivery from sin by and to a person.

Two questions. Are we given Scripture as a list of do's and don'ts, and if something is not on the do list, do we do it, seeing there is no biblical warrant? If no, are we as new covenant people required to celebrate the Passover, the exodus from Egypt?

Thank you JT for your post. I am very interested in this, so I have a question for you. It is sincere and I would value a good answer.
Who invented the 'global warming' [myth] and for what purpose?
John, I don't know whether it be a good answer, but fallen man will find ways to profit, and/or to increase power, won't he? If the money is followed, it will be found that those people or corporations who would benefit most from "fixing" the problem, via their investments in alternate energies (not in itself a bad thing) will be the ones most promoting the idea of its need.

It is also important to the power hungry, especially in govt., that power remain and increase. That's just history. So whatever crisis is needed to make unreasonable solutions sound reasonable, is manufactured. Donations to legislators helps with both goals. Again, fallen thinking. Do we not see this in other areas? Always it results in more control over people's lives, while the problem supposedly to be helped continues on its merry way. But at least something is being done, right? (Billions upon billions have been spent on the US "War on Poverty." Why are there still poor folks?) Maybe keeping them poor is profitable?

The second coming of Christ is regarded by many as a myth, but when he comes in the clouds of heaven with all his holy angels, it will be shown not to be a myth at all, but the truth.
Global warming is already being proved to be, not a theory, but something which is actually happening today, this very day, and increasingly so, as carbon dioxide stacks up and insulates the earth. While another million trees (which by nature eat up carbon dioxide) are cut down.
John, the odd thing is, as God presents the earth with the prophesied climatic judgments, people will likely still be saying it's man-made climate change.

If you're old enough you may remember back when it was all about global cooling, and we were about to enter a new ice age, we were all going to starve because carbon dioxide was going to block the sun's heat. That didn't work, so global warming was invented. That hasn't worked, (no evidence of warming for on to 20 years) so "climate change" is the bad boy now. The problem is, climate change is normal. It fascinates that man thinks his puny efforts can change the climate, and that with all his theories based on computer models. GIGO still applies.

You must have forgotten all the praise heaped on Mueller's lawyers when they got underway. With the vast majority of them Democrats, it's no wonder the media and the left were happy. It was going to be a slam dunk as far as they were concerned. If even these lawyers couldn't find what was so wished for, then do explain why they aren't coming out and saying Mueller is hiding something? Lefties are too proud to admit error. I do hope they will continue into election season. It will be fun to watch them gnash their teeth.

Thank you brother.
For your blessing as well as mine, create a checklist for a biblical warrant for the following things:
1. Clergy and Laity
2. Public Address System (and electricity)
3. Board outside the church
4. Illuminated Cross (and electricity)
5. Custom-built car park
6. Collection Plate
7. Hymnbooks (and pew Bibles)
8. Organ
9. Carpet
10. Pulpit
11. Pews
My preferences and opinions are always (I hope) based firmly on scripture, rather than mere human preferences.
Indeed, and might we add one more?
12. Barns

But personally, I do like the barn idea.

It make perfect sense that the culture of death approves of things associated with death. It also makes sense that they couch the approvals in certain language.

"measuring bias"
"how government legislation can inform individuals' attitudes,"
"if anti-gay bias was on the rise everywhere"
"Bias spiked in states that had not approved same-sex marriage"

The article writers give away their own obviously biased position with their language use. Ask them and they will say they are just reporting the news. The walking dead want the living to be like them.
