The moral decline in the UK is definitely NOT new "news". However, they are certainly not by themselves. This is a prevalent situation in all of the Western Industrialized nations, where the rise of mega-corporations have come to be worshipped, rather than God.

This is why the American Psychological Association, and the American Psychiatric Association lead the charge toward homosexual behavior being "normal". Pagans always advance homosexual behavior!

“ Excellent Message!! ”
Rev. Case offers excellent Scriptural insight concerning the origin and continuation of the tyrannous actions of our government.

“ Brilliant Scriptural Insight! ”
Pastor Weaver, you have pulled back the veil here to expose the TRUTH of Scripture regarding why women are not to be teachers or preachers, in an enlightening manner.

Street preaching and direct evangelism is essential. How can they know if they haven't heard? I love the analogy Ray Comfort uses: you don't see a lot of criminals hanging around a police station, and you won't see a lot of unrepentent sinners hanging around churches.

All of you street evangelists out there, check out Adventures In Christianity (www.adventuresinchristianity.com). It's an online community for those who share their faith Biblically.

I first read the Purpose Driven Life as a baby Christian and thought it was the greatest thing. I bought copies for all of my family members and friends. Then two years later, after growing in the faith, I thought I would re-read it next to the Bible so that I could more richly enjoy it. What I found dropped my jaw! Almost every Biblical reference in the book was horribly out of context or used a translation that inferred something contradictory to every other translation.

Furthermore, I found it fascinating that the first line of the book tells the reader "it's not about you", and then every page thereafter tells the reader the opposite.

Rick Warren's and Bill Hybel's drivel is bad theology at best and poison to the church at worst.

I have attended a number of "Purpose Driven" churches over the last few years and without exception, the PD model eroded the spiritual core of the church. The externals were great, and the church grew in numbers. But the spiritual center of the church rotted away. I have known a number of street evangelists who make a point of handing out tracts and preaching the Gospel outside of some of these "churches". Almost without fail, the churchgoers are completely ignorant of the Gospel - but they hear great sermons on the family!

I was taught at an early age that we are known by the company we keep. I wouldn't want the endorsement of a homosexual bishop if he were the only legal voter in the state.

Muslims in the United States need to learn that time-honored saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". This is primarily a Christian nation, working 6 days with Sunday as the day of worship and rest. If Muslims don't want to do this, then they should seek work elsewhere, or return to their country of origin.

All of the Democratic (and nearly all of the Republican) candidates are quite confused where Scriptural values are concerned.

Our nation is much too extended militarily right now, which is why even a second thought is being given to drafting women.

Bring all of our troops home, and use those as necessary, and our technology, to greatly solidify our nation's perimeter, which is nearly non-existent today.

Now that the 1599 Geneva Bible is available in an English version, the KJV-only folks have been torpedo-ed.

King James funded (and thus, authorized) the KJV version of the Bible, because he was a strong advocate of the 'divine right of kings', which the Geneva Bible had been speaking against for 100 years prior to publication of the KJV.

I listen to a message nearly every day. Due to my interest in Southern Heritage, I've been seeking out those preachers and messages that have a relationship to Southern Heritage, and to my delight, there are more than just a few!

It's astonishing to me that people who claim to be Christian conservatives would offer their political allegiance to an unbeliever, especially a member of an aggressive cult. Mr. Romney is a pagan and shouldn't be involved at all with the U.S.Government, but so are several other presidential candidates.

Perhaps it is that many of today's "Christian conservatives" aren't Christian at all. The Church at large today is filled to overflowing with unbelievers, whom Scripture tells us we will know by their fruit. Advocacy of homosexual behavior is part of the reprobate fruit of these unbelievers in "The Church". Though I cannot claim that we are in the "end times", Christians supporting a member of the Mormon cult is certainly "going about deceiving and being deceived". Two years ago, I joined The Constitution Party, the only political party where I ever have had membership. Not only do I see no reason to change, but see less reason today to be part of any other political party!
Ephesians 5:11 (ESV) tells us, "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them". Mormonism is an unfruitful work of darkness, regarding which I am compelled to follow God's admonition in Joshua 24: 14-15, " . . . . But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

The 1689 Baptist Confession is quite similar to the Westminister Confession, which is one of the reasons why I now uphold the Reformed Baptists.

“ What an excellent message! ”
I was there, and lived it. Then saved in 1985, becoming an ardent Calvinist about 10 years later. In tying being there and my salvation together, this entire message has direct affect and application for me today . . . been there; done that; got the t-shirt . . . AMEN!

"From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, we will fight this country's battles on land and on the sea".

This is all about our ongoing battles with Muslims in the course of our history. Of course, to be politically correct, the Marines no longer sing this anthem. Perhaps they no longer believe it, as well!

“ Great Sermon! ”
This excellent message is well-documented, and adds additional clear thinking to this issue, which liberals are wont to try to "emotionalize".
