Republicans for Choice Endorses McCain

Republicans for Choice (RFC), a group of pro-abortion Republicans, has endorsed its second choice for president, Sen. John McCain, after former Mayor Rudy Giuliani bowed out.

“He has time and again reached out and worked with people across the spectrum,” RFC said on its Web site. “We know we can work with him to create common ground that will allow moderates and conservatives to come together to rebuild the GOP.”

RFC supports Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, the landmark 1973 rulings that legalized abortion and are responsible for the death of more than 45 million babies

McCain Backs Off Support for Families Headed by Mom and Dad

Sen. John McCain, presidential nominee, recently issued this statement:

MATT 1:25 "her firstborn" is omitted. Jesus her firstborn indicates that Mary and Joseph had sexual relations after the birth of Jesus and that others were born of her. omission here adds credence to the false doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church concerning the perpetual virginity of Mary. The Bible is clear that Jesus had brothers & sisters.
5:22"without a cause" is removed. In the Sermon on the Mount the Lord warned of judgment for those who were angry with a brother without a cause. Should this change be accepted everyone who is angry with his brother may be judged. The effect is to bring Jesus into judgment for failing to observe his own words (see Mark 3:5). Such is contrary to the doctrine of the sinlessness of Christ.
6:4, 6, 18 "openly" is out. It is a Bible Doctrine that Christian work done unnoticed for the glory of the Lord will one day be rewarded openly (Col. 3:4).
6:13 "For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever, Amen" is deleted. This ascription of praise to "Our Father" is found in 491 out of 500 existing manuscripts. This statement was made a century ago by Dean John Burgon.
8:29"Jesus" is left out.It affects the doctrine of the Person of Christ.

Some of the type of reading is personal perspective, Dostoevsky thought Russia fit here, seeing all kinds of devils -socialists, nihilists atheists in his 1800s Russia- I was just reading his novel, "The Devils" , w/ the title from this viewpoint.

I've had friends who called a variation on this "Sodar"-

1Cor.6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor effeminate,
nor abusers of themselves with mankind,:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Bob Enyart's popular christian TV show had him telling effeminate men to 'talk like a man' or he wouldn't continue with them. And they'd drop the affectation.

The 'Sodar' ability is partly based on speech patterns: not just the affected lisp that GRATES when coming from a guy,
or base cussing like a sailor from a female, but other tonal nuances.

The same seems to alert us to people with tendencies towards other traits, as this goes on to say.

"On the other hand, he says the study might just be an indication that we're much better than previously thought at perceiving overall characteristics of others, of which sexual orientation is just one of many.

Rule has made something of a specialty out of facial features and snap judgments. Earlier this year, he published a study suggesting that certain facial features of companies' CEOs helped predict the profits of their businesses."

the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy seems to contradict modern textual criticism. Article XIV says: We affirm the unity and internal consistency of Scripture.
We deny that alleged errors and discrepancies that have not yet been resolved violate the truth claims of the Bible.

but
modern textual criticism teaches
basic criteria for internally assessing variant readings is
(1)The more difficult the reading the better.
(2)The shorter the reading the better.
(3)The reading that is in verbal dissidence with other readings is better.
(4)The less refined and more rough reading is to be preferred.
Modern textual critics believe that the reading in dissidence with other readings is better! That’s hardly a case for internal consistency.

Network heads responded by dashing off an urgent memo: During the main presidential debates this fall, ask NO questions about abortion, ethics or evil! Morality isn't the Democrats' forte."

How bad is BO? He makes even McCAIN
appear a moral giant.

In 2006, Coca-Cola released a statement about its recognition of Ramadan.

"Because no other brand is as inclusive as and no other company is as diverse as Coca-Cola, we have a unique opportunity to play a valued role as an international bridge-builder and facilitator of dialogue during Ramadan."

He says he believes in sin; but sin is not willful rebellion against God and His law, but the loss of self-esteem. He says he believes in Jesus Christ;
but his positive-only, “Self-Esteem Incarnate” Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.

Schuller says he believes everything in the Bible. That is not true. What he believes about the Bible is redefined & twisted for $$$$$$.

Communist China has long persecuted churches that refuse to submit to the Religious Affairs Bureau.

In the 1950s, the Chinese communist government began pushing the "three self" movement as a means of pressuring churches to break all ties with Christians outside of China. The "Three Self" movement supposedly stood for "self-supporting, self-governing, self-propagating." That is a good description of a biblical church, but this is not what the communists meant by the term. Like their friends the theological modernists, the communists are masters of changing the definition of good words. Their emphasis was on disassociation from foreign influence, which was labeled imperialism, and submission to the communist government. If it were honestly named, it would not be the Three Self movement, it would be the Three Communist movement, because the object is not "self government" but communist government of the churches.

independent churches in China continue to be persecuted today. Pastors are jailed because they refuse to buckle under the China Christian Council’s "authority" and regulations. All the while, the leaders of the CCC lie to the world, claiming no persectuion.
