Let God be true and every man a liar”. I am sad and shocked that many evangelical Christians are ardent devotees of the Roman Catholic theology of St Augustine, who launched the Replacement Theology, that emphasised perpetually punished and stripped Israel, and the great triumphant Church. I am also appalled that evangelical Christians support, along with the theological and political liberals, the so called 2 state solution, which really is a 1 state solution, leading to a sharia Islamic Jew-free Arabic state of Palestine, and some ardently have embraced so called “Christian Palestinianism”. This is an utter disgrace. The great Reformed Anglican Bishop, J C Ryle, who opposed Catholicism and wrote about the Puritans and Reformers, was |

Two issues here.1). The Sabbath for Christians. No, we do not celebrate the Sabbath, which is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. I do wish my Reformed friends would stop calling Sunday the Sabbath. (I am Reformed in theology, too). It is not, it is the Lord’s Day, given to the Church in the New Covenant, to celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection, but also a day of rest, and yes, I believe the 4th Commandment still applies, and has not been abrogated. We Christians should joyfully celebrate the Lord’s Day. I do remember as a boy, when most shops were closed on Sunday, now in Britain, large shops have restricted hours, and everything else, including small shops, opens when they like. A pity in many ways. 2). Though I am Reformed, I do not subscribe to Replacement Theology, as God has not forgotten His promises to the Jews or to Israel, but they will be fully restored to faith in Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ, as their true Messiah, having been double crossed in their 3rd Temple, by the wicked Antichrist, the False Messiah, when he declares himself to be god in the middle of the tribulation. I agree with Dr Tim on this one, and we Christians should remember if God does not keep His promises to the Jews or Israel, He may not keep His promises to the Church. “Let God be true, a |

In Britain, apart from 1 specialist civilian NHS hospital in the Midlands, but which has some military medical staff attached, and field hospitals in areas of conflict, we no longer have specific military hospitals. As far as veterans, we do not have any kind of state provision for them except a pension, but there is the British Legion, and a variety of charities and regimental associations, etc.,that run private rehabilitation facilities, long term homes, hospices and so on for ex-military. The famous Royal Hospital in Chelsea, (not a hospital at all, but a grand home for ex-Army with a distinctive red uniform for its residents), is one of these, and one or two private medical hospitals, one of which in central London the Queen uses if she needs serious treatment. As for military chaplaincies , these are multi-faith, though some evangelicals are present. There is also, separate from the chaplaincies, a lay run Scripture Readers Association, which is voluntary and usually ex-servicemen and women who are permitted into barracks, military facilities, to share the scriptures and assist in other ways. |

In Britain, with one solitary exception in the Midlands run by our civilian NHS, with input by military doctors, there are now no state hospitals run by the military, except field hospitals, and then servicemen are usually flown home for treatment in civilian hospitals. There are some charitable foundations with long term homes, hospices, and some private hospitals, (the Queen uses one of these in central London), and the famous Royal Hospital in Chelsea, which is not a hospital but a special home for elderly ex-soldiers with a distinctive red uniform. NHS hospitals usually have multi-faith chaplaincies, and the traditional hospital chapel is now usually a “multi-faith room”!! |

Unfortunately the Mormons read their Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price, which they add to the Bible. As for the Jehovah’s Witnesses so called, (true born again Christians are the real “Jehovah’s Witnesses”), they have their doctored “New World Translation” of the Bible, their Watchtower and Awake magazines, and their many instructional books, and of course the “Faithful and Discreet Slave” aka the Governing Body of some 7 or 8 men in Brooklyn, that have absolute control over the lives of all “Jehovah’s Witnesses”. As we can see, neither Mormons nor “Jehovah’s Witnesses” do very much Bible study, but only isolated verses out of context to support their doctrines!! |

The video was a Twitter video, but there is a good hyperlink to it, together with a full article on ChristianConcern. com website. It was also reported in Breitbart. The headmistress had gained controversy the previous year for organising an LGBT Pride March in the school, though apparently the weather intervened, and a scaled down event in the school hall was held. She is apparently a head of a second local primary school, at the same time, this is quite normal when schools are federated together. The 2 children this year who refused to participate, were actually given a detention after their dressing down which lasted from 10 am to 3 pm, and it was subsequent to that the two children were suspended for 5 days. This is actually, I believe illegal, and contrary to government policy on suspensions. I am a qualified teacher, from many years ago, but have taught mainly adults in my career. I keep abreast of what is going on in schools. This is quite unacceptable, and is shockingly bad practice! |

I have just watched a short 5 minute video by a lovely 10 year old West Indian or African British girl, I believe of Pentecostal background, and I am incensed. She had just been suspended from her state (public) primary school in south London, along with a Catholic boy of the same age, for 5 days, because they refused to participate in a compulsory LGBT indoctrination lesson. Their class teacher refused them permission to abstain from participation, the headmistress, who is a known LGBT sympathiser, whose lesbian daughter is the school administrator and whose deputy, a man, is an active homosexual LGBT activist, hauled them into her office, gave them a dressing down (bullying session, basically), and accused the young girl of saying that she wanted to kill LGBT people, which she did not say!! In her video, the young lady gives a most sensible and masterful expose of this wickedness and child abuse, and says clearly that this is confusing and bad for children!! Our miserable politicians will do nothing about this, we are indeed in the last days!! |

Actually in the article which was not in the extract printed on the SA news, it stated that the British state supported though not owned broadcaster, the BBC, for which every tv owner must pay an exorbitant annual licence fee to watch any tv or even digital tv programme, enforced by law and legal sanctions, and which is about to strip over-75’s of their free licence, (unless they apply for a bureaucratic means-tested government welfare pension credit), reported a censored version of this news, which removed any reference of the Dogon villagers attacked and burnt alive as being Christians, or the Fulani herdsmen that attacked them as being Muslims, and merely passed it off as “clashes between Dogon hunters and semi-nomadic Fulani herders - a mere fight for resources”!!!However, the Lord is working in Mali however, and the deputy pastor of one famous Reformed church in Britain is from that country originally. |

The London Evening Standard, the main free weekday Monday -Friday) newspaper in London, (which also does national and international news), and is very pro-EU and anti-Brexit, also pro-LGBT, is featuring special articles at the moment on recreational marijuana / cannabis and the desire to see it legalised in Britain.Medical marijuana is now legal in Britain, after the nominally Muslim Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, overruled the PM Mrs Teresa May, after a court case in the British Supreme Court, in favour of the mother of an autistic boy, whose supplies of medical marijuana for her son had been confiscated at the airport. Already US entrepreneurs and multi million businessmen of the cannabis industry have already had a top level meeting in London, to see how they could promote a future legalised fully licenced recreational marijuana industry, and are very confident, with support from many politicians and police chiefs, that they will see the law changed. “Pharmakia” or sorcery as it is translated in the AV / KJV is certainly big in these last days!!! |

What is also so shocking about this series of events is that they are taking place over a whole weekend when the “LGBTQI etc Pride” parade in Newcastle is taking place, I understand, and as well as this panel discussion with these LGBTQI etc panellists as advertised, and one or two other events on the other days, the events on the main Pride Day, are refreshments, coffee, etc., offered from a liberal Anglican parish church in the city for participants before the march, and then after the march, most sacrilegiously, a “Holy” Communion service at the Cathedral, celebrated by the “non-binary (can’t decide whether he / she is actually male or female) genderqueer transgender” curate, who rejoices in the first name of Bingo!!!Such blasphemous wickedness should not be tolerated as these citizens of Sodom, profane the commemoration of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ for our sins, and His holy Body and Blood given for us on the Criss of Calvary. We are indeed in the last days, and Romans 1 is being played out before our very eyes. Why is not every single evangelical in Newcastle out in the streets, opposing this? The Muslims would be, but then they are unofficially exempt from many of the laws that are passed promoting this wickedness, and nobody would dare to inflict this kind |

In Britain we had 2 infamous shows, like this, one now long finished, which also had a US version, called Big Brother, where the young people (and some older ones), lived in a large sealed house, under camera for 24 hours a day, and one was voted out for eviction each week. The other one is Love Island, of young people put on an island in a romantic setting, and again voted out every week I think. I won’t ever watch such things, and always regret whenever I have allowed myself in times past to watch such dreadful time-wasting and sensual things, which as a Christian we should never seek to be entertained by worldly things like this. I do understand that sadly, after the last series of “Love Island”, 2 of the contestants, a young man, and separately a young woman committed suicide. Another infamous show, a psychology advice type show with a studio audience, the Jeremy Kyle Show, has been immediately permanently scrapped by ITV after the suicide of one of one of the participants. As for the young lady “Bachelorette”, need we say more? I fear this lady is on the broad road, and she needs to get out of that fast, repent, go through the strait gate and proceed along the narrow way. |

I was indeed saddened to come across a rather Open Brethren assembly that in its website stated that it was a member of “Churches Together” in its location. That automatically means that like it or not, and maybe it doesn’t realise it, that it is directly or indirectly linked up with both the National Churches Together, (formerly British Council of Churches), and thereby of the World Council of Churches. These elders (Brethren Assemblies do not have full-time pastors), have indeed compromised, which thankfully is not typical of most Brethren Assemblies.. Even being in involved in the local “Churches Together” means having occasional joint meetings with Roman Catholics, and liberal local Anglican, Methodist and United Reformed Churches, which is indeed very questionable, and sadly compromising with heretical movements! |

Who says the Makane Yesus Church is apostate. I think despite the African name, it is actually a branch of the Protestant Lutheran Church. It dies not matter whether it is Lutheran, Anglican, Pentecostal, Reformed or Baptist, it has a perfect right to be there. I believe this ludicrous decision has 2 motivations. The local government is concerned that the Ethiopian Orthodox Church is being challenged, and this is the favoured church of the state in Ethiopia, and I think there is also a fear of offending the rather large Muslim minority. I have seen a short video of a very lively Ethiopian Orthodox service, which sounded fairly noisy, and 5 times a day, the muezzin will call loudly and amplified over the mosque minaret, calling Muslims to prayer. Perhaps the local government there in Ethiopia might investigate these for nuisance nuisance as well!! |
