Making abortion illegal doesn't solve the problem. It just makes abortion riskier. The problem is not that it's legal, but that people actually want to have them. It's a heart problem, not a legal one, and God is the only solution to it.
Odd how so much hubbub is stirred up over some old fart in Louisiana. Where was all the noise when they took prayer out of schools? I think I smell the "h" word floating around somewhere in the vicinity. As for this whole situation, I actually agree with both sides. The duck guy spoke truth. Good for him. That's more than most people will do. The show producers don't want that to be perceived as their particular belief. Good for them. Now we know where they stand, and who needs more prayer. As for supporting these folks....first of all, they are richer than anyone here. They dont need your money. But if you still feel like spending, at least have enough sense to buy Duck Commander, not Duck Dynasty. Duck Dynasty is a show, and the money you spend on it goes to the producers. The money you spend on Duck Commander goes to the ones you mean to support.
Since there was nothing displayed next to the nativities, I would consider the atheists' beliefs to be well represented. That just leaves Jews and muslims.....add a menora and a bomb, and all should be satisfied.
And nobody has brought up the more obvious fact that perhaps the reason people are getting sick is because they grew up with sterilized food and have lost the ability to manage the natural flora found in real food.
The China thing is way overblown, over done, and just plain tired. We only owe them 1.3 trillion. In all, we owe other countries about 5 trillion total. Believe it or not, we owe more to ourselves than any other entity.....to the tune of 6 trillion. Yes, we are borrowing primarily from ourselves, not others.
This should be the responsibility of the cab company, not the drivers. The company should have a diverse enough workforce to accomodate these situations. Imagine if the cabbies were forced to drive dogs around... What next? Forcing people to bake cakes for gay weddings against their religious convictions? Fining people for not photographing sodomite unions? The list could go on and on.....
