Wise observation Chris G P. Eugenics are always the coward's method of getting people out of the way. Abortion takes this to the next level by targeting those who have no voice, no defenses, and no way to escape to tell the story. At least the Jews could nobly defend themselves as best they could (or join the other side to strike a blow). Not so for the babies. "Pure barbarism" for sure. God hears their cries though, and rest assured He will avenge the blood of the innocents as He did for Europe's Jews - He promises it.
QC - children are a blessing indeed. I have the privilege of having ten brothers and sisters and wouldn't give up any of them for nothing (and certainly not in the name of reducing emissions!).

That's a crazy story Chris000! Not too surprising though in light of the fact that the wages of sin is death. Not surprising either that that hideous act was committed on the day of the dead (repackaged as Halloween). I don't know your age, but I imagine when you and some of the other on SA were my age (eighteen) this kind of stuff was unheard of. My eighty year old neighbor who's dying of COPD always tells me he's thankful he's going out instead of coming into this world.

They're a great company and all, but they give some stiff competition to Duckling-fil-A. We're still trying to find a mascot that can hold up our "eat lots of duck" signs.

Their song about the "hole in the bottom of the sea" is really fun. Check it out on YouTube. As far as entertainment goes, I think veggie tales can definitely cause theological confusion among children. As for being racist, I think in these days, anything that smells of Christianity is bound to be labeled racist or bigoted in some way or the other. It's just the default.
The only race of veggies I've seen is when one puts a carrot in front of a bunch of horse (or goats in Tim's case). And then of course there's the race cars that run off of ethanol (which is just veggies once removed).

Poor Franny, he must just be coming around to some pretty simple knowledge. You'd think that as the Pope he'd be infallible or all knowing or something like that.😕 I ought to let him know that ducks quack - just in case he hasn't realized yet.

...by the US to control more oil.

By the way Chris G P, you wrote about "our" interference. To what extent has the UK been involved in the mideast? Just curious.

Chris G P from England writes:
"Sometimes our interference in these areas has been worse than useless, and in fact counterproductive, and has affected the Christians in those areas far worse than if we had left things well alone."

Su true. Interference usually makes things worse over there. Our military goes in with the troops being told they're fighting for America and freedom, when in reality, these operations are often just carried out to benefit the political/economic upper crust in unseen ways. For example, US troops are often told to destroy the seed stores of native farmers (from plant varieties the farmers had grown and saved the seeds from for generations). Not surprisingly, American seed companies come in after and charitably donate patented, hybrid or GMO seeds to these farmers. The problem is, when the farmers try to save the seeds from these American varieties (as they had done with their own native varieties) they find that it's not possible. Naturally, they then have to repurchase seeds from US seed companies over and over again - and now the seed companies have a new locked in, dependent customer. Nice and charitable huh? That's just one example of many...

An Indian friend told me that Indians generally believe that the Iraq war was nothing but a scheme

Well said Mr Timothy. It hit the closest to home for Toys-R-Us. They stated that their business is dependent upon high or sustainable birth rates in developed countries - while at the same time forking over the cash to Planned Parenthood. That's what they call shootin' yerself in the foot.

So basically, if we Christians were to boycott all the companies that support PP (or the plethora of other wicked organizations out there), we would have to never buy anything again.

Of course I believe there are oceans. Why else would the sky be blue? It comes from the sun reflecting off the ocean of course! Clouds are just reflections of the big waves and schools of fish. Believe me, I know. I deal with semi-aquatic birds every day.

Wrong Connor7, the Earth is shaped like a bowl. How else do you think the oceans don't drain off?

Those kind of people are usually unstable simply because of the fact they have no family, community, or roots.

Interesting. I wouldn't have thought that Alaska would have a west coast type social environment. I've always sort of thought of Alaska as a backwoods, small town, conservative state (kind of like Mississippi). But then again, sin knows no geographical or climatic boundaries, does it? Also, come to think of it, Alaska was originally populated by gold rushers, trappers, and other adventure seeking lone wolves - much like California was.

Plain Old Tim from Possum Hollow, USA writes:
"Don’t be jealous just because raising waterfowl doesn’t require a CDL (cart dude license)."

Why should I be jealous when I'm inspected and certified by the USDA (United States duck association)? In addition to that, all of my baby ducks get a grade A status from the FDA (fledgling duck authority). Can you claim the same quality for your goat herd? Who inspects them?

Sounds like the fella who's sayin' all this needs to just learn to be tolerant of the government not tolerating intolerance. Then we could all tolerate all kinds of toleration and intoleration and people who don't tolerate either. It'll be just awesome for everybody (except for all the people who don't tolerate awesomeness, they'll get left out).
