connieWhat is your problem with Jews? Or maybe you agree with expositor that they are "unregenerate" and Christinaity's greatest enemy for 2000 years. ? (from his website) 33k and myself took expositors advice on the forgery accusation of Anne Franks diary, and 33k quoted from info. he googled. it was very clear. I summarised from various info. I found. I spent time visiting expo's website and read quite a lot for myself. we dont all have the time to research expositors other (Bible-books) forgery claims, do you? Many people make many claims...so ..? If you have found/know something, please share with us instead of criticising our responses/lack of, if you will.Tks. |

Lance, I am a former catholic and I was never educated into the historical truths and origins of the papacy . Upon hearing truths I looked into it for myself and could not defend the indefensible anymore.Of course RC's told me these were "Protestant lies" (without their proof!) There wasn''t a "Pope" for the first 300 years after the church was born. There were "bishops". Paul never mentioned a "Pope". Christianity was considered a sect and was persecuted until Constantine merged church with state and installed the Bishop of Rome as "Pope"in the church he created for political purposes. Peter was never a Pope. There is nothing in the books of Acts of the Apostles to suggest that he was is there ? Please look into this yourself, don't let anyone else catholic or otherwise influence your own research.I and others on here have been where you are and are aware of the inner conflicts involved. So much so I abandoned research for a while as I could not face the pain and preferred the state of brainwashing to conflict and spiritual warfare I was experiencing. If you do not want to listen to us ok but please research prayerfully. If you are really sincere in finding truth God will lead you and help you. All the best.My prayers . |

Wait and see,Nobody is beyond redemption. We must pray for Rev. Paisley AND Adams We are to forgive and bless and pray for our enemies. This is exclusive to Christianity and the hardest thing for us "in the flesh" to do (haven't we all honestly noticed this ?? ) because Gods' enemy will do everything within his power to hinder us as forgiveness opens the floodgates of boundless mercies and miracles otherwise blocked. The enemy knows this, thats why he does his utmost to stop us doing so, all the more should we know and be aware ! Gods' ways are not our ways. We are just to obey as difficult as that can be and we need all the help through prayer that we can get ! |

CBC You are not reading what I wrote. Nowhere did I say that we must not speak out against sin. I said " CBC, Sin is sin is sin. Can you imagine Jesus and/or the apostles wearing similar garments ? Preaching the good news is indeed what is required of us. We leave the rest to the Holy Spirit who convicts the sinner. If anyone asks us we must of course stand up for our faith and speak out against this sin when necessary, but we are not to agitate, in fact by using the same tactics the enemy uses " I stand by this. You disagreed..and said "That is why we are where we are. I will choose to obey scripture than to take the worldly commentary on christianity to "leave it to the Holy Spirit". Read your Bible. It confronts sin repeatedly. We need to be obedient to God, not politically correct." I prefer indeed to trust in the power of the Holy Spirit and you deny this very power in your own words. You spoke to a believer about 'obliterating my point and his 'rant'..these were angry words cbc and uncalled for. Of course Jesus confronted the woman at the well, but look at the difference Firstly the woman wanted to hide her sin-and Jesus did not use agressive carnal tactics or lawsuits Only the Holy Spirit can truly convict a human heart, not a worldy weapon |
