"Almost half of adults there believe the theory of evolution makes God obsolete but just over half are unaware that Charles Darwin wrote The Origin of Species."Ignorance is bliss??? Considering in Britain today most of the churches dont believe the Bible, its no surprise that the majority of the nation is ignorant of the truth. Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. NO faith! - NO Knowledge! |

"This is the sort of double standard that Christians are facing in Britain." Absolutely correct! The establishment in Britain whether political, bureaucratic or academic is politically correct and liberal. This curse and disease is making everything British apologise for it's very existence and institution. As for Christian Britain Now read Anti-Christian Britain. Prejudice against all things Christian and persecution of the Christians themselves in all spheres of life in this evil country, is growing and we can only wonder where it will lead. It would appear that GOD has denied Britain for their denial of HIM. 2Tim 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: |

"Campbell's Soup, however, has brushed off the AFA's complaint."Lets face it the Sodomite supporters are not going to stop fighting against Biblical teaching are they? Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. I guess Campbells soups are going to hell! As the Glencoe MacDonalds would say "The Cambells are coming you know by the smell" |

"The Catholic Church teaches that while homosexuality is not sinful"Well the antichrist would say that wouldn't he. This is like declaring that the sinner is not a sinner. That sin is not sin. That the sinful-wretched estate is not sinful and wretched. THIS Is Deceit. "There is NONE righteous NO not one!" "I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but DUNG, that I may win Christ" What emerges from the mortal is so much dung, both thoughts and deeds. All that the sinner imagines in response to temptation is iniquity, evil and the complete opposite of righteousness. Therefore both are part of sin! Our response to temptation stems from the same source - the carnal nature - as temptation itself. The difference between the temptation "of" Christ and temptation "in" the sinner - is that in the sinner it can work. In Christ it is completely and utterly impossible. The temptation of Christ was external to Him. The temptation which the mortal experiences is IN them. Therefore the RCC/Pope teaches that sin is not sinful. As per usual this is heretical teaching and ignorance of the Bible truth. Romans 14:23 "whatsoever is not of faith is sin." |

Whilst sympathising with her plight, we must also remember that we are not of the world, only in this world."If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." (John 15 & 17) Increasingly over recent time the Christian teachings and message, and the Bible, are becoming more irrelevant to society at large. We are to continue witness, but in a very much more open warfare circumstance. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not." (Ro 8 & 12) |

rogerant wrote: The passages that you posted speaks of His, chastening and rebuking. He is not punishing the saint out of anger, He is chastening out of love. I showed you that in David's case the Lord was angry. It appears that you think the crucifiction changed God in His attributes, that He now restrains His anger at His post NT children??? Why?I personally believe that I have and can experience the Lord's anger, when I have sinned. I do not reject this I welcome it. Because then I know my Father more completely, in all His attributes, and that is what I seek to do as one of His children. His anger demonstrates exactly where He stands on sin within me and my sins. This is not just head knowledge from reading, but faith. I do not need to precondition Him to know Him. God is my Father in all His attributes, in Christ, I am His adopted son. We are made in His image and His attributes are part of that image. I invite you to read the following, by John Gill. rogerant wrote: All of the passages that you just posted were pre crucifiction. Can you find any post crucifiction passages that speak of God being angry at his saints? I use the whole Bible Not just one part of it. It is the whole counsel of God, and teaches about God working with His people. I do not dismiss the OT since Jesus taught that He came not to destroy it but to fulfil it. By Grace, I perceive God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in the whole Bible.God is the perfect Father and He will obviously get angry with His children at times. But He is longsuffering and needs to be. Heb 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the CHASTENING of the Lord, nor faint when thou art REBUKED of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he CHASTENETH, and SCOURGETH every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure CHASTENING, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father CHASTENETH not? I do not have a problem with my Father angry at me. In point of fact like Spurgeon, I would be very surprised if at times, He were not angry at His children. "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." |
