Sorry, but your Judgement of Lewis just brought Judgement on yourself..I am writing all this for those who maybe reading these posts who never post and may not even be a believer..just giving another side to the debate..I did not agree with everything he believed anymore than you believe everything I believe or I believe everything I believe..we can be in disagreement without judging each others salvation.

Did. Jesus,using all these evil things to make a point make Him evil also and using Him self as examples of a Lamb and a Lion wrong?? He came as the sacrifical Lamb the first time, He will come back the second time as the Lion of Judah..bringing Judgement on all who refuse to believe and rewards to all His saints whose names are written in the Book of Life.

Wow, to all those that think using witches and all these evil things in his stories sent C. S.to hell,the Bible speaks of witches, Jesus spoke of hell, demon possession, the Devil does this make Him an idol worshipper..He spoke of hell more than He did heaven..somone said Jesus was only refered to in the Bible as a lamb..I gave scripture in Revalation where He is the Lion of Judah. Tell me please, once more if Jesus who is God can be said that He is a Lamb and a Lion without being idolatry?!! My personal opinion..he is now i with His Father God, who welcomed him into His kingdom with these words," well done, thy good and faithful servant, thou has been faithful over a few things so I make you ruler over many."

We are to disclpline our children in love not anger. To do so is to teach lessons..not provoke them to anger like Gs said. There is a difference and you don't have to use excessive mearsures to accomplish that. We had a case similiar to that here but they were foster parents. She starved one of them that was 14 yrs. Old and was beaten to death because he was making her lust..they may have been adopted but it was four children in their care but according to the others he was more serverly punished. She got put in prison and the husband given a lighter sentence because he lied to cover for her and did not stop her from the abuse. They also had two biological teen-age girls that covered for her.

I noticed the same thing you all pointed out, not many hits on the really important things..really devastating perscution. They pray for us in our prosperity and ask for our prayers that they stay firm and true in their faith. Precious brothers and sisters in the Lord, may He grant you peace and strenght in the midst of your suffering. That you may bring light to those in the darkness of this world. You so inspire me in America to remember that God allows suffering to bring us closer to Him..to trust in nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness. We need each in these dark times that is coming upon this world even now. God bless and keep you in His everlasting love.

Mine, too, Shane it will probley not happen here because our pastor preaches against homosexuals. We have always supported the Boy Scouts at our Church, had a special Sunday once a year in honor of them even to lunch afterwards for them and their families..even a Scout house for them to meet in. This year a few weeks before the event our pastor postponed it until this problem with homosexuals being allowed in was settled. Well, the Gazette had as their headline"Pastor of First Baptist refuses to honor Boy Scouts because of Homosexual issue. That Sunday in "Cheers and Jeers" section someone put a jeer for our pastor's decision to do this. The next Sunday his sermon was on Standing on God's Principles and being a light and being condemed..you might even be jeered in the newspaper. Well, we did have Scouts day and they still meet in the Scout Hut. But he is very much an outspoken on sin type preacher.You know, People, this is a sure sign of Jesus's soon coming..when the love of many grow cold and a falling away from true faith.

Thank You, Mike..I found it and it's exactly how I feel about this issue..I am so relieved that I finally have someone that understands my thoughts on it..I love this preacher!! This sermon cleared up a lot of confusion for me.Lewis has always been an inspiration to me for years. On a forum on audio sermon I saw a totally different Lewis.He was into the occult,he was a heretic and going to hell..his books were all witchcraft.I defended him and the whole group on there then kind of attacked me on the issue Anyway,thanks so much for clearing it up for me because I felt the same way you did exactly.

Sorry strike the word h..l( there I cleaned it up for thaose you would be offened) My apologies to the moderator..a better word would be all war breaks out. I have been on several debate teams in high school and there were rules that we had to follow..you would think on a Christian forum you would follow Christ's command to love your neighbor as yourself..the world will know you by your love for your Christian brothers. I almost feel hatred from some of you but not all..some are kind and loving even in their disagreement with me and I've learned from these.

Ok you've all made your poiint here..I wave my white flag..I surrender. You know, I really don't have time for all the bickering and name calling and 90% of the time I've been blasted out the water because I disagree and I don't call it debate. You work really hard tearing other people down that disagree with some of you. I noticed if I agree, thumbs up smiles etc. If I disagree ( excuse the french) all hell breaks loose and I am under attack. I catch myself not even commenting because it might on an attack and I don't want to sin or be a stumbling block to someone else and them to sin. Well, I'm done..have a good life all..
