An abortifacient acts after human life has begun and produces a micro-abortion. The Roe vs. Wade and more recent Casey Supreme Court decisions, which legalized abortion in all of our states, for social reasons, for the full nine months of pregnancy, obviously also legalized it in the very first weeks." The article appears to relate specifically to the birth control pill - contraception.

Women are born with approximately 1 million eggs in their ovaries, but these eggs gradually decline in number as they age. In fact, by the time they begin menstruating, they will only have about 400 000 eggs left. Only a few hundred of these eggs will ever be released during ovulation.

Considering most women in history have had only about an average of three children, - three eggs used out of a million start - I don't see that the prevention of some by contraception is murder. The term contraception is basically contra-conception ie the prevention of making a baby. Not the killing of a fully developed person.
400,000 eggs produced but clearly our creator did not decide that all of them would be used.

I think this leader/teacher is putting emotion before fact.

The real problem with contraception is its application in the modern mind set of society, in displacing authority in family and motherhood. The reason for this is the worship of mammon.

God saves the Elect as HE has promised.
Eph 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

What damns the rest to hell is their own guilt. It is really quite simple, God saves some and the rest get their just deserts.

But I suppose as an Arminian you will advise all and sundry, that they can overcome sin all by themselves, without divine intervention.
And if THEY then choose Christ, He will comply and they can cooperate with the Lord unto their own salvation.

Oh Michael, you still can't get rid of that ole papist notion of salvation by works.

Then what was the purpose in rewriting the Bible in modern vernacular?
If your answer addresses human ability, then you undermine the work of the Spirit. In effect you seek to establish that the Spirit requires help to deliver Scripture truth.
