The elect of God are “the church” we gather together to worship Him who is worthy, and to edify our brothers and sisters in Christ. That means protecting them from tares,goats and dogs. A man who is carrying legal and is protecting his earthly family as well as his spiritual one is to be commended not condemned.
“ Great Sermon! ” So glad you posted these up on SA. I first listened to them on your YouTube channel and was mightily edified by this series.

I agree with those who denounce this holiday as unscriptural. However since everybody and their dog love this festival we refer to it as the “winter holiday” and partake in family time, baking and gift exchange. We make no reference to ‘Advent’ but always when an opportunity is presented speak of a merciful and gracious Lord and Savior who came to seek His lost sheep. This is to be proclaimed every day, as the HS directs.

Dear sc- I too will join my brethren in prayer for your situation. I also have to endure by God’s Grace an affliction that is quite rare. Only 3% of the population have this condition, so my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Haven’t read any comments from naysayers and nitpickers on here.Just because one is challenged concerning their theology is a far cry from being controversial or contentious, and being unjustly labeled by you Frank. As Quiet Christian rightly posted, we are not a bunch of neophytes that need constant instruction from the man from Wales.
Come quickly Lord Jesus that we may sit at Your Feet and hear pure Truth. No more lies, half truths, blasphemous doctrine, by men not guided by the Holy Spirit. Oh what an eternity that will be! Amen.
