“ Great Sermon! ” First time I have listened to Pastor Cook and this is an excellent message to help us recover from 2020 which was indeed one of the worst years ever.
“ Great Sermon! ” The very first sermon I heard by pastor fortnet and what a knockout punch it was !! I have listened to it several times since and it continues to bring me comfort and thankfulness that I am a sinnee saved only by Gods free grace
“ Great Sermon! ” This is exactly what is happening today in the US. I could not put my finger on it until I heard this again. Someone else is attempting to direct and control our consciences other than God. It’s wrong and it’s evil. . May God almighty intervene.
“ Great Sermon! ” Over the years Pastor Donnelly never disappoints in his preaching. He has wealth of knowledge that can only come from the ministry of the Holy Spirit and his application of that knowledge is nothing short of excellence. Thank you for your years of faithful service.
“ Great Sermon! ” The beatitudes are herein explained in ways that make perfect sense to me. It really helps to know the words in Greek because so much gets lost in the translation . Thank you Pastor Donnelly for opening up the true meaning of the Lords teachings here.
“ Great Sermon! ” Marvelous series and I agree with Pastor Donnelley’s recommendation of Spiritual Depression - it should be on everyone’s bookshelf for its guidance on not only spiritual depression but depression versus healthy thinking. More helpful than any other book in Barnes and Noble
“ Great Sermon! ” Wonderful explanation of the beatitudes. These two introductions provide the background for understanding the Christian character.They are not traits we are born with; they are traits we inherit and develop when we are born again. Very encouraging.
“ Great Sermon! ” Great series. I remember when you first came to First Pres and succeeding Sinclair Ferguson when he retired. It’s meant several years of precious spiritual growth for me throughout the years, Thank you for your knowledge, your sense of humor in your preaching and your devotion to Jesus.
“ Great Sermon! ” So important for us to remember - we are still sinners and everything we do must be sent of God , otherwise we are disobedient- and I struggle with that constantly - God have mercy on me.
