The persecution of Christians is coming, are you ready?
The persecution of Christians is coming, care but
The Bible says to watch, the watchmen warn, not carry on conversations.
Speak Gods Word, if they don't hear What, Beg them, Show them, Open their eyes, Argue with them The Bible is clear on this matter also
Correct me if Im wrong, but to a christian, one who Follows Jesus, would he not HEAR the truth?
Don't think your preaching to the choir online, your to defend the Gospel, spread the Gospel
Funny the word Gospel is really never used in the teachings of the rapture, the second comming, and the like
Know why, these things are written to the saints, because you must be saved, born again, and if you are, you will see the truth, ask God
I understand, a lack of wisdom, or knowlage is a part of christian growth, once saved, at that moment one does not feel smart, or all knowing, one must be taught Spiritual, DIE
Neil and John I understand that in the Soviet Union, people learned to figure out from what *wasn't* said on state radio, what was really going on
SIGH! The rate things are going here in the US, you and I will probably aquire this skill, too.
Again I ask, why hear them at all?
Thats kinda like hanging out in bars to get away from the religious people.
"Religious" people have caused me more mischief than others. The latter are easier to guard against
Sorry to be so pessimistic. "Hope thou in God", David often said (Psalm 42:5,11, Psalm 37:1,7,8)
Guys David was not talking about NPR, as a matter of fact no one in the OT does.
But the NT, After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: John 7 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. And, 1 Thessalonians 5 Abstain from all appearance of evil

Amen Hi Lisa, the Bible does say He knew you before, being born? why yes it does Now thats something to ponder.
Just for you O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit
Hold fast to you traditions, the scriptures, the OT. When you get down to it, all other "traditions" come from man.
For with the OT only, one will be lost And with the NT only, one will be lost
I pray the Spirit continues to show us both the truth.
Neil wrote: If you listen to classical ("powdered wig music") on the radio, you get NPR. I can't stomach the "Christian rock" music station. NPR didn't bother to interview Repub voters that morning, but that's par for the course. After all, it was started as part of LBJ's "Great Society." I understand that in the Soviet Union, people learned to figure out from what *wasn't* said on state radio, what was really going on.
Good point, Neil State radio, real christian doctrine there. You say, I can't stomach the "Christian rock" music station So, if I understand correctly you tune in NPR for? Music? Or as an alternitive to "christian rock"?

Pastor You being silly?
eternal life would have to include the 1000 years as well plus whatever life you have left now.
eternal life would have to include the 1000 years as well DUH, it does, the Bible is very clear on the reign of Christ on earth. Also very clear on who will be there. Notice, it says those asleep (dead) in Christ, shall be brought first, before those living in Christ at the time.
Notice not all the dead, nor all those on earth at the time.
The Bible is clear on when there time will come, besides are they in any hurry to go to hell. Whats a thousand years compared to eternity, not even a DAY.
plus whatever life you have left now The Bible says this life is like a vapor So I guess if you want to look at it through the flesh, it would be included in eternity, yes. But a better way to look at it is, Once your saved, you enter into eternity with God, through Jesus.
I wouldn't want to be standing around looking for eternity when Christ returns
Is your oil lamp full, Pastor Did you hear Paul Washers sermon?

Hi Mike Im torn, am I a smug "charitable" detractor, thats ok, not important Tell you what is though, this sermon
How to Get Saved - Truly Gospel Repentance - True... | Paul Washer
Look up, its being highlited under RECENTLY-COMMENTED SERMONS Give it an ear, ok
You say Must be they are already perfect
I guess you haven't gotten to For there is none that is good,(let alone perfect) no not one, EXCEPT, who?
The Bible says to put aside those things of a child, when you become a man. Others are futher along in the race, their walk, they need to be heard and the baby on milk shall digest the meat, or will stay on milk and suffer malnutrition. Babes are to be cared for, given what they need, not what they DEMAND. Please hear Paul Washer Goddbye Mike
Listen, JD can't help himself, Terry. He just overflows with Christian charity! It wasn't much more than 4 hours ago in his 2/6/08 2:34 PM post here that JD "repented" of calling some others "spiritually dead men." He's such a joy!............. Virtual "Good News" to all us "unbelievers."
Minnow, The water here is too deep for you You need to stay close to shore I don't jhave time for silliness So you're on virtual ignore

Someone writes, a time or too
A thousand years is as a day
Reminds me of Ben Franklins words Everyone is entitled to their opinion As with this verse, no one quotes the whole thing, Ben continues with ONLY if they can logicaly defend it.
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night
I guess to the watchman a night would seem like a thousand years, not.

Luk 9:26 "For whosoever, shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's and of the holy angels." (KJV) Could it be you people have these verses ommitted in your perverted versions?
Hi Ernie Yes, I agree, many have forgot those verses. For many cannot even use their name in commenting, talk about ashamed But in this case Ernie, mans law is not Gods. And you now violate both. Don't be confussed, be Christ like.
Great Sermon! AMEN, One can hear in Pauls voice, he does indeed care about the lost.
For Paul uses Gods Word, to enforce what the Spirit teaches.
Audio boy- ears to hear, Amen to your post, to include even Baptist Pastors on SA message board.
Yes, love this sermon.
Hi DJC49 Great Post And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison. And shall go out to deceive the nations, to gather them together the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and shall be tormented day and night forever.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition

Lurker wrote: These words are the summation of what the Word made flesh taught (1 John 3:11). These words are the fulfillment of the Law of Moses (Gal 5:14) aka the law of works (Rom 3:27) which Jesus said He had come to fulfill (Matt 5:17). These words (Lev 19:18) are the righteousness of God apart from the law of Moses (Rom 3:21) which Jesus nailed to the cross in His mortal flesh (Col 2:14) which the author of Hebrews spoke of metaphorically as the veil of the temple (Heb 10:20) rent upon His crucifixion (Matt 27:51) preparing the way for Christ our forerunner (Heb 6:20) to enter the Holiest of Holies by breaking down the middle wall (veil) of partition (Gal 2:14). These words Jesus spoke saying they were spirit and life (John 6:63); His finished work and our rest. These words are the power of God unto salvation (Rom 1:16) and eternal life (John 6:68) and, I believe, the meaning of Christ crucified. I could go on but after this comment....
.... I will hold my peace.
Lurker Sorry to intrude on the good news Just so I have it clear If someone ask me, what is the Gospel I tell them, READ THE BIBLE Is that correct sir, and thank you for clearing that up for me.
