I feel like what passes off for the signs and wonders movement is a cheep immatation of anything remotly biblical. The tounges of today are but repititous babbling, lacking biblical interpretation. IMHO the RCC is a synagog of satan. The pope the vicar of God, the one whom sits excathedra and what ever word comes out of his mouth is equal with scriptures is anti christ. They have anathama-ed anyone that believes in justification by faith alone and never recanted( Counsel of Trent). Their doctrine of purgatory is an affront to the finish work of Christ. The scriptures also tells of Paul requiring the man whom commited adultery with his fathers wife in the Corinthian church to be handed over to satan. That he may kill the flesh. And that he might be brought back into the church by repentance not exorcism.

The main point of the post is that the Roman Catholic preist are finding more people that are dabbling in the occult. The position that I have stated is good faithful gospel preaching trumps any forces of darkness in Eph 6 Paul tells us to shod our feet with the preperation of the gospel of peace, aswell as to hold up the sheild of faith To stand fast in the truth and righteousness. The history of the Roman Catholic exorcism and the use of icons and relics and other objects to remove the forces of darkness apart from the finnished work of Christ alone is itself idolatry. The church's main function should be the preached word not focusing on the personal experiences of casting demons out of unbelievers. As believers in Christ it should be our desire to know nothing but Christ and him crucified.

When I said " remember the devil " let us not over state his power. Satan on his best day could never equal God. Satan is God's creation. We must remember that the devil is God's devil. The only time we see demonic in the time of Christ and his Apostle's, we should not see such things in our day. CHRIST has bound the strong man and defeated satan on the cross. The true way we destroy the kingdom of darkness is with good gospel preaching.
