There seems to be an overwhelming battle between the two thoughts.
Thought 1: I'm in control of my destiny and therefore every decision I make Will without a doubt affect that said destiny.
Thought 2 : I will be a "good" Christian take everything in prayer and Jesus will fix everything.
Both thoughts biblically seem to be false. Thought 1 puts us as God, and takes us away from having true faith. I mean if God can make the Heavens and the Earth, he surely can despite our control alter our destiny for his Will. Thought 2 is however dangerous as well. The idea that we can put our children in the face of danger (open internet, tv, video games, magazines, etc.) and take it to prayer that God will just fix everything I dont see that in scripture.
My friends it is our responsibility to be aware of danger and flee from it. Proverbs 22:3 and 27:12
Get internet filters take precautions. Dont leave your children to themselves.
However, no matter how well we protect ( as we should Matt 7:11) the enemy will lurk seeking to steal, kill, and destroy.
Raise our children live them and protect them (Eph: 6:4) . Point them to Christ. Teach them to repent and follow Christ. (Luke 13:3 & 5 and many others). As well as taking all our cares and concerns to God seeking his will for ourselv

As a condition of employment, we are required to attend a diversity roundtable focused on lgbt issues and how we can be more understanding of their choices. It is a sad day indeed.

Tb I'm asking you if Jesus can go from a loving tender being frantically begging for this sinners life in tears and anguish, HELPLESS to in an micro second turn upon this same sinner in rage and judgement? Something is horribly wrong here. Yet this is your god.

Ok tb, your God loves all men, equally and alike, no one gets special treatment. A sinner is going to die in five minutes by train wreck. Jesus is pleading with His father to please do something. I can't is the reply. My hands are tied. It's up to the sinner. I can't violate his free will. Jesus pleads with His Spirit on earth the same plea. Same reply. In tears and anguish he watches the sinner die. The sinner appears before Him and Jesus angrily cast him from His presence. Tb you are presenting everyone on this board with a double minded person and worse. This little story is not theologically correct but the heart of the matter is correct. Tb is this how we are to understand your god ?
