If you do not think that we have not fallen off the cliff. Read Psalms 2:1 "Why do the heathen or (ungodly) rage against God? Is this not true, they take counsel together to conspire against God. We need to accept the fact that this is not about values or morals but squarely a denouncation of God. Psalms 2:3 "Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us." This is the position of of the unsaved they do not want any constraints against their ability to satisfy there perverse activities. We need to stop relying on politcal parties to solve issues related to God. But fall on our knees and pray for a true awakening for the darkness that engulfs this nation.
This is the biggest sucker move yet. Obama reaching out to Christians how ludicrous and comical. How do we get ourselves in these messes,. where a person ignorant of what the Bible teaches is now reaching out to people of faith? What or who is a people of faith? I am a Christian bought by the blood of Christ that believes every word in the Bible (excuse not man's interpetation but what God has made plain) and the Obama faith is not in the Bible. This purely a social gospel and I hope true Christians do not get caught up in this false and misleading tidal wave of socialism.
We are seeing the destruction of society right before our eyes. It is impossible for a civilized world to procreate and continue life if homosexualty is continually pushed upon us. We will become plagued with diseases and other calamities promised in the BIBLE. You have to be a real child of GOD to understand what's going on in the world. Other wise this makes no logical sense. If you have not noticed all these disgusting lifestyles are only taking place in countries who are supposed to be highly educated England, USA and western Europe. My pray is the Holy Spirit comes with a real world revival not some fake televangelist but like Jonthan Edwards, DL Moody, The Welsh revival. God we submit to you and your order not man's flemsy paganism and hedonism.
One verse in the Bible says it all. Amos 3:3. Can two walk together, except they be agreed? You can not follow someone for 20 years and not know their doctrine? If this man is elected we will be bringing in a anti-Christ (remember "anti" means to replace.)
Just the other day I had a conversation with a Social Christian or one that believes in equality here on earth. The Bible never speaks of equality, Jesus even says that we will be rewarded differently for what we have done for the kingdom here on earth. The Bible is clear as to how we got into this mess and when it will be over but in between he has given Satan dominion and God in his providence allows such things as hunger, poverty etc. for his Glory. But the fall created the mess and the Saving redemption of Christ our Lord and savior will deliver us. Not some man trying use the Bible for social engineering.
I think the Bible explains this best in the second Psalms verses 1&2, Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? v2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord, and against his anointed. That should explain the government's position on about any subject you bring up.
This is something Natural Evolution can never explain. Why does Man need to worship something. As a Christian the answer is simple we are made in the image of God and the Fall of Adam has made us of distant from God. Our ability to worship is marred and we will worship anything and everything until we are BORN AGAIN in Christ.
The problem with the SBC is not some lack of theological training but what does the Bible say. For many years preachers have ignored or even denied the words predestination and foreknowledge existed or their true meaning. Or they contrived some doctrine based on Armiansim. We have denied the Holy Spirit in the work of Salvation. But they preach a "dead corspe" has the power to rise and make a choice for righteousness when the Bible say's we are "dead in our trespasses and sin. Nothing dead can rise on it's own. This started with Bill Graham and reached a plateau with Saddleback Church. Probably the most clear expository preaching I have heard is Al Martin's sermons on the "Whom so ever will" teachings. Lastly read A.W. Pink and you can see these doctrines in the Bible he makes them clear without any persuasion.
This information is given out out about every ten years or so. People who continue to say the Churches are filled with hypocrites are using it as a copout. Let's get this straight, I am going to forego fellowship with other like minded believers because of someone in the church is not to my standards? Ok, so I go to the sports bar, golf club or sporting events to serve God. Man, you either or, or not a Christian. I do not even entertain people who start to spew that type of garbage.
There is a term in the Computer field that applies GIGO (garbage in garbage out.) Seeker friendly churches catering to the Starbucks crowd never having saving faith that true repentenace brings will wash away like a house built on sand. Instead of preaching the Bible they will consider another formula to get the masses saved.
This is the deception the Bible speaks of in Romans 1. Worshiping the creature before the Creator. If you do not think we are in some perilous times this proves it. Next we will have Wicca and Satanism as religions being proclaimed as a way to Christ. Please play for a revial like the type Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards had.
Insanity abounds, you can't even get a five year old to brush his teeth but we feel it's time to teach the real "birds and bee." Ever sinking to an all time low next we will have a method to indoctrinate them while still in the womb. Children need the care and nuturing of the Bible and it's wisdom and solid God loving parents to make it in this life not some sex-education teacher.
I guess my problem is with the Hindu's that reside here. If they have such a hatred toward Christianty it did not stop once they reached our shores and the anger must be like a seething bubbling pot inside them to live in a society where most adhere to Christianity as their religion of "choice." What a shame they have to co-exist and par take of the fruits of a democratic society which allows them to build temples and know one is rioting and burning them down.
This is what I like no let me clarify love about America. We can trample the rights or will of the many for the good of one. That's true democracy at work. Boy we never had it so good.
