Whatever happened to the church's practice of removing such divocees from leadership? Gee, whatever happened to staying married and faithful through thick and thin? I guess this means that Bentley will marry this other woman and flourish all the more in the worldly ministry of his.

Rebuke well taken, Discernment. Yes, we should have taken your wise counsel alot sooner on that other thread. My warning here was really aimed at any newbies so that they would not be sucked into his/her vortex! I will consider any counsel you give from here on in so that I don't become a fool again! God bless you, friend, amen!

WARNING Let There Be Truth is actually Wayne. Notice that Let There Be Truth did not rebuke the commentor who called him Wayne in his last post. But Wayne was conveniently at the right place and time to deny it. Watch out for him.

At least he's been stopped from spreading any more of his demonic antics and transferrable anointings. I pray that this will wake him up as he is on "leave". He was the one who filed for divorce. His wife filed for seperation. I saw a picture of them pre-tattoos and what a nice couple they appearred to be. Its a shame what happens when one gets deceived by seducing spirits. In this case it has affected the whole family negatively.

Yes, Jesus has already won! So, it is we, the faithful remnant who perservere to the end, who will win! Halleluah! IMHO, a bit of persecution might do good for the western churches! If it doesn't wake the churches up to be the light in this dark world it most certainly will reveal who are truly Christ's.

Girl, you ask who I believe will win in the end. Jesus Christ, of course! I know, I know, you are asking me about our election. I believe it will be Obama unless God performs a miracle. I am afraid that the judgement of God is upon us for our murderous ways and rejecting Him at every turn as a nation. Blesed is the nation whose God is the LORD. With that in mind God is not obligated to deliver us until we, as a nation, repent of our wicked ways. The state of the churches in America needs to change, too. I pray that Australia will not follow in our footsteps anymore since it is not a safe road we are on.

I couldn't have said it better, Girl. Wayne delights in brining up repented of sins that have been forgiven and forgotten by God because it lifts him up to a place of superiority. He treads on dangerous ground as a worker on the side of the accuser of the brethren. Instead of rejoicing at God's deliverance of us he uses those past sins against us. No more comments to Wayne. Put him in God's hands for he is too stiffnecked to recieve correction concerning his attitude. Besides, like any droll troll he must have the last word. Let others examine him for who he truly is. We can confidently step out of this wayne game knowing that God is our defender and not we ourselves.

Well said, Girl and lyn! I couldn't agree more. Wayne, I read your nasty comment to me before retiring last night. If I were so insecure I would have blasted back at you. But I did not. I put it in God's hands and slept well through the night. See, you have exposed yourself for who you truly are. None of us are fooled here. May I suggest that you study and memorize 1 Timothy 5:1-2. I am so very glad you are away from U.P.C. I have a dear friend who attends a U.P.C. church. She called me awhile back so excited that an angel appeared in their church. The elders and deacons deemed it was from God. Sad. I tried to warn her that it wasn't of God and she got hostile with me and didn't want to hear it. I haven't heard from her since. But I pray for her to flee that church. It is a fine example of Kundalini. When I visited there, everyone was speaking in tongues, dancing all over the place, and there was nothing orderly about it. Of the people I have met that is in a U.P.C. church, they are all sufferers of depression. There is something to that, I believe. So, I am very glad you are away from that ungodly denomination. Fix that 'tude of yours and you will do well with your Degree which I know you worked hard to get. May all that breaks God's heart break yours, too.

Thank you, Michael. May God bless you for coming to our defense and especially to the defense of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect in the knowledge of the scriptures as Wayne is. I have learned that I am a bit impatient with those who are know-it-alls. I do pray to know Christ more and more. My biggest fear is that I will think I know it all and reject correction when it is rightly deserved. I did a lot of teaching in the churches I have attended and I taught what I thought was the truth in scriptures. It was WOF, PDL and the charismaniac's idea of the spiritual gifts via C.Peter Wagoner's lessons. You can imagine the tears I cried when I realized how I had taught lies in the name of Christ! That was three years ago. I guess my impatience is due to not wanting anyone to believe in lies as truth. John 17:3 and Matt. 7:21-23 are the scriptures God woke me up with. I desire John 17:3 and I fear Matt. 7:21-23. Of the fears I have, I believe them to be healthy as they have shown me the importance of discernment.

Wayne, I am currently studying Torah through a 78 year old missionary who 10 years ago studied scriptures from a Messianic Jew's point of view. Even he is humble enough to admit that on some things he was taught in seminary were wrong. You are a young emergent who has the same arrogance as your idol, RW. A cyberspace troll is one who thinks everyone but himself is wrong and will beleager the point that everyone else is wrong endlessly. They rarely have any facts to back up their suppositions. Their opinion is the "truth" despite all evidences given against it. They are the ones "in the know" and no amount of effort on the other commentors' part will convince them otherwise. In other words, it is fruitless to have a debate or discussion with them. Most bloggers can spot them early on and will no longer discuss the topic at hand with them. Thanks to you, I will be more cautious in the future as a comment string can become lengthy and boring to readers who can see that it has become a contention with a troll.

Wayne, no one here has said that RW is a false prophet. False teacher, yes! And how can I trust what you teach if I suspect you have Warrenized theology? Now, it is all and good that you have been educated at DTS, but to use that accreditation to lord it over us ametuers reminds me of Jesus' admonition to His disciples that if they want to be the greatest, then they must be a servant to all. Jesus did not want them to lord their God- given high position and knowledge over those who are His as the Gentiles lorded it over those beneath them. I bring this up because you keep telling us to repent, yet you have not repented of your pompous "professional theologian" statement. You really have no credibility with me at all. I think of the many educated ministers and servants of our Lord who comment here at SA that you called ametuers. It wouldn't be a problem if you said it to me only, but you were speaking to the others who were quoting scriptures to you. You didn't like that and, thus, made your statement. I wonder if you even have a teachable spirit. Where is the humble servant who is patient and able to teach? You jump on us with insults and treat us as though we are christian paeons who make our observations about Obama and RW without knowledge. Well, we do not and you know it.

Wayne, churches in the days of this admonition aren't like the churches of today that are filled with the unsaved drawn in by worldly bait and switch. No, churches then were for the worshipers of God through Christ. Yes, seekers would come in but, did you know that they were given a seperate room apart from the worshipers? Anyway, You must think that the church of Laodicea had alot of seekers in it. Now why would an unsaved seeker answer the door of a church they are visiting? That would be like a visitor to your home for the first time answering your phone without your permission! It is the Father who draws the unsaved to Christ. And that means the heavy laden and burdened folks. BTW, why do you presume me to be insecure? You keep saying that whenever I disagree with your pompous attitude. Perhaps i am the only one who has noticed this. Maybe I am insecure, but, of what, I do not know. I believe if you cut me down it lifts you up since you won't let me know of what my fears and insecurities are.

"If anyone (note: not the whole church) hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him ( any individual- not the whole church) and dine with him..." Notice the whole church will be spewed out, but Christ calls for a remnant that will repent. This clearly speaks of Christians (true and false ) who have no need to "invite" Christ into their heart to be saved. Jesus gives the few the chance to follow Him before He must spew the whole church out of His mouth. Wayne, you are a worshiper of your intellect, hence the need for us to recognize your credentials as a "professional theologian". You challenge us to give answer to you so you can show off your superiority over us. Shame on you!

Engineer, thanks for the link to the transcript of the forum. I have been reading it this morning and I really don't see that either McCain or Obama will win any more Evangelicals to their side. Their pandering to RW is much worse in print-(groan).

Lurker, good point about Rev. 3:20, that Jesus is knocking on the church door of Laodicea. Even Jesus is calling individuals in that church (and the churches) to open the door to Him. What an eye-opener when I learned that years ago, that Jesus was knocking on the door of this church! I had been taught that He was knocking on the door of my heart yet these verses show Him knocking on the door of this church, and I knew I wasn't in any type of church at the time. Those verses had confused me until I was taught them correctly. Sadly, RW has increased the membership of that Laodicean church of which I once belonged. A simple prayer asking God to reveal all the lies I was believing as truth is what got me outta there as He answered it. And He is still answering it. All the more I praise Him because He delivered me from some awful heresies. God is good all of the time...

Praises to God, Girl! I got goose bumps ( or is it goose pimples, down under?) when I read this part of your testimony: "He did not choose me because I sought Him; but I began to seek Him after He chose me...". Amen to that! I didn't even have a Bible at the time, but I heard the Gospel on TV when none of the other channels would come in but this one with the preacher. Oh yeah, God does the inviting! Ever grateful that He drew me even though He knew me! I love hearing the testimonies of those God chose. Michael, I think Wayne was name-dropping because we weren't too impressed with his credentials.

lyn, you are a blessing to me! I may plagurize your one comment to Wayne showing scriptures that we do not choose God, but He chose us. So simply put! And, Michael has blessed me, too, with the scriptures he quotes. Not bad for an ameteur theologian, eh? I love the scriptures when rightly spoken and taught. Since I have 970+ characters left I would like to say that I read in the L.A. Times that both Obama and McCain support RW's P.E.A.C.E. Plan. No matter who is our next POTUS we can expect our tax dollars to pay for its implementation. Hoo Boy! Another ungodly thing we may be forced to pay for!

At Moriel.org they have a newsletter that tells of the Calvary Chapel Conference of which John MacArthur condemned RW's teachings in the Purpose Driven Church and the Purpose Driven Life. He, along with Roger Oakland, Bud Press, Jacob Prasch and a host of others refuted his teachings via scriptural proofs. They pointed out the New Age spirit of the teachings. RW has an affinity to mysticism. He is now paganizing Christianity just as much as the Catholics christianized paganism in the early Church. Now that is the truth behind RW's New Reformation! He is to be avoided like the plague! God will not honor such an admixture! Wayne, how do you know if the Internet is not a good tool to use to study Scriptures? If one uses discernment then I can't see it as something God would disapprove of. Hey! RW has a teaching site, but, you would say that that is O.K., huh? What ever did I do to study scriptures before the Internet, oh my! I must have been reading my NKJV! And I still do! Nope, the Internet can't take that away from me! Wayne, your knowledge of the book of Proverbs is severely lacking. "Let another man praise you, and not your own lips". I am referencing to your " I am a professional theologian and I don't need ameteurs like you ( the commentors on Sermon Audio ) to teach me!"

Looks to me like Jesus is the One doing the inviting in Rev. 3:20! God draws, Jesus invites and we believe and receive upon our repentance. I didn't pray an invitation prayer, either. With tears I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior because I saw my need for Him to be Who He is in my life.
