I for one, have become technology weary and am beginning to wonder how to respectfully decline the latest "must have" electronic technology that comes along without being labeled a Luddite. I seriously question whether all this new technology is producing a better society. To the contrary, I'm afraid once the damage done becomes obvious it will be irreversible. At time I feel like we're all being swept along to certain doom. And from a Spiritual perspective, I can't say that the most technologically advanced nations in the world are also the most godly and Christian. The reverse seems to be true. How sad.

I'm with you brother John.

I love God's Word, i read it daily, I believe it and attempt to live by it. I believe someday I will be judged by it. Presently I'm looking for Christ' return.

Churches that specialize in a non-literal understanding of the Bible ultimately leave the impression with their church members that the Bible is interesting and has some nice quotable quotes but need not be taken seriously, so really, why bother with it at all.

My sincere hope is that this republican win will not be merely seen as an opportunity for Americans to continue with their pet addictions, but rather to take stock of the moral decline and begin to look to God for salvation, wisdom and direction.

That human beings intentional kill their own unborn, chemically or surgical, is so sickening. What's worse is this practice is common among those who identify as Christian.

This is such a huge and pervasive problem now, only an draconian effort could possibly reverse or at least stop the damage this is doing to our entire generation. Without a massive spiritual revival our culture has sadly already passed the point of no return.

There is a very stern warning in the New Testament against slander. It behooves us to be aware of that and not slander one another.

Alright, let's imagine another scenario to help decide who to vote for:

Imagine our two families are miles from land in a sinking boat, praying to God to be rescued. Suddenly, out of the mist, come two boats to save us. One is captained by an adulterer; the other is captained by a thief. The adulterer captain says, "Give me two of your virgin daughters and I'll rescue you". The pirate captain says, "give me two of your sons to work on my ship as sex slaves and I'll rescue you". Which boat will you get into? Which one is an answer to prayer?

John Yurich says:
"Trump is the only candidate for president that has stated he would appoint conservative justices to the Supreme Court to rid this nation of abortion, homosexual marriage and the evil policies of Obama. "

The truth is, placing too much hope in our "conservative" supreme justices can prove to be quite disappointing. It is only too common to watch a once conservative judge turn liberal over time as has happened most recently with Kennedy.

Why do Christians feel obligated to vote for someone in violation of their own conscience? The damage done to millions of Christian consciences will be far greater than any damage Clinton could ever do.

From now on voting for morally offensive candidates will be easier for Christians. Greater compromise and justifications are just around the corner. Our children are watching us.
They see our compromise, and how we can look the other way at certain sins just to get "the right man" into office.

It is impossible to increase morality by putting an immoral president in office. It will only serve to bring the presidential office to a new low!

The real question to ask is this, what has this nation done to regain God's blessing and approval? I do think there is a strong likelihood that God has turned this nation over to an even lower level of depravity. She is not yet ready to repent.

That this matter is even a subject up for debate is appalling! It's a non-negotiable subject just like the divinity of Christ or the inspiration of Scripture. Any church that even considers taking another look at these sort of subjects is already at the bottom of a slippery slope.

Sound advice John of UK. It wouldn't hurt anyone to at least give it a try.

If it was Hugh Hefner instead of Donald Trump as the Republican nominee would it make a difference? Probably not.

In all fairness to Obama, he can't be entirely blamed for all the evil that is now legal in America. This trend began in the 60's with roots going back even further. He is merely taking advantage of the current low moral climate and giving people what they want. Now we have lewd, degrading or chronically lying presidential candidates and it barely causes a ripple. Why would voters be shocked by candidates who so perfectly describe their own mores and behavior?

n UK from Wales writes:
100% of the population are sinners by nature, and that is most accurate.

Do you then agree with the LGBT that they were born that way? Just wondering.
