Obvious There are probably millions of people who went to hell thinking because they said some prayer or stood before an alter that they were saved. If you are a true believer you WILL endure to the end. THere have been many people that have provided much scripture your way so I will spare you from that. You are making some huge assumptions by saying the prodical son and Peter lost their salvation. But again I ask you to go ack and answer the questions I asked of you. There are many people who will say they are born again but there is no fruit. It wasnt that they lost their salvation its that they never had it in the first place. I will ask you one more question. What does the Bible teach about justification? |

Obious truthTo believe that a person who is TRULY born again can lose their salvation is another Gospel altogether. Please show us where in scripture it shows us how we can become born again "again". It says Born again, not Born again and again. Wouldnt the Bible answer the following questions? How much sin does it take to lose it? How do we get it back? Are you so knowing that you can know when in fact you are sinning every second of the day? How can one be saved one second and lost the next? Either your saved or your not. If you were to know that in 20 years you were going to die, could you say for certainty that you are going to Heaven? The God I serve says it was paid in full not in part. Your Jesus is a probationary officer, mine is the Saviour. To say Jesus + what I can annie up = Salvation,, is an absolute slap in the face to what Jesus did on that cruel and criminal cross. Its a free gift that he paid in full. You need to study the difference between Justification and Sanctification. You will never know the true love of Jesus until you grasps this. In Crist Rick |

HopalongI am beginning to see the points that Mexican Mike is bringing to your attention. Using scripture within the proper context to teach, rebuke etc. is to use Godly wisdom. However as I follow these threads along in your conversations with Mike and Michael you dont apear to be doing that. If someone were to ask you "How can I get saved and know that I have assurance with God if I were to die tommorow"? How would you answer them sir? |

Mike from MexicoMike I have been on and off this site for about 4 years now. And I have had some good conversations with you in the past. I remember telling you that my wife and I go to Cancun every year and I asked you how far you were from there. I remember talking with you about the huricane that went through and if it affected you. I rember when I was on everyday for over a year and I started getting angry with JY and GG had the ability to slice and dice someone when he was frustrated or angry etc. And Because of my anger toward these folks I took about a year off from this site. The Lord showed me that my anger was nothing but my own pride. I do apologize if I am coming off as self rightous this is another thing the Lord is working on me for. In Christ Rick |

Michael HranekThanks Michael I do agree that at times we have to show some tough love, and at times some uncomfortable rebuking. But as Christ followers we need to be careful here. Are we doing it because our own pride is at stake? Would you be comfortable in showing a Catholic these discussions if you were trying to win him or her to the Lord? Galatians 5: 22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. I know there have been times when I have resorted to name calling even on this site but the Holy Spirit strongly convicted me that it was my own pride. In Christ Rick |

GG I will start out by saying that I am a sinner just like yourself. You and any of the other members of the Catholic church may even sin less then myself.Lets put all religion, ideas and presupositions aside for just a moment. If you and I both die right now and the Lord asks us the same question..... Why should I let you into my kingdom what would be the correct answer? My Answer - With both hands openly stretched I would point all fingers and thumbs at Jesus Christ, saying it is not of my good works or merits but it is he that died in my place. GG what would your answer be? And for anyone of you others on here that call yourselves Christians I am pleading with you to please stop with the name calling and throwing stones. Your not helping, and your certainly not bringing glory to God. Sinner saved by Grace Rick |

Pope Mysterious writes. Says Who? You clowns. Maybe you think you are infallible. Seems to bug you clowns when the Pope states correctly that he is.Sir the only person that fits the infallible description you stated above is Jesus Christ and until you repent and admit you are a sinner and walk in obediance to him you will perish. This is not fun and games here. If your answer to Gods question of why should I allow you in to my kingdom has any finger pointed back to yourself or a religion, "you will be judged". Please save your self an eternity of pain and suffering. Come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. Love in Christ Rick |

I too have been with Sermon Audio for about 4 years now. I know GG has a wife who constantly prays for him, and she is a true believer.Reading Gods word should humble us to our knees. Read the verses below and then examine your heart, What is your heart telling you. Galatians 5: 13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. |

I dont agree with Catholisim one single bit, but I do not agree with how most of you are trying to reach them.Titus 2:7 Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, Lance, GG and any other Catholic out there I ask you please, pray that God will guide you to the truth through his written revelation. Maybe right after you pray you could read the book of Romans and with the Holy Spirits guidance his truth will set you free. Love in Christ Rick |
