Danielle,

I have prayed for God to give you the desire of your heart, which He placed in you to begin with. It's rare for a young woman not to have embraced the feminist agenda.

I'd imagine finding a God-fearing man who will lead you in the ways of the Lord and provide for his household won't be easy, but with God, all things are possible. You may have to wait for a bit, but for His sake, it will be worth it, and you can't have a better man than the one of God's choosing, trust me. :-)

Reminds me of the below that I wrote years ago:
Why is it that when fundamentalist and evangelical Pastors preach against feminism and for the necessity of married women to be submissive and obedient to their husbands as unto the Lord, they almost invariably assuage their comments by interjecting the duties of married men to love their wives as Christ loved the church and to not treat their wives as inferior or as slaves or objects in response to their submission. The usual sentence goes something like this; “now men this doesn’t give you the right to be dictatorial”. Or worse than that is the comment that God didn’t take Eve from Adam’s foot, so Some would say these folks are simply teaching the whole counsel of God. If that is true why is not the converse also true? Why when they teach about the roles of men do they not normally interject the roles of women in any assuaging fashion. Men are to love their wives as Christ loves His church and women are to obey and be submissive to their husbands as unto the Lord. See that wasn’t hard at all!
Pastors state those disclaimers because they're scared of the women in the church...perhaps chiefly of their own wives!

Being an help meet to one's husband is a honorable thing. :-)

Oh and God said that sex outside of marriage was a sin and men have always wanted to have sex with whomever and whenever they like. I brought up this because I am sometimes referred to as a misogynist. Without the support of carnal men, abortion would go nowhere.
Brother Frank, I don't know you personally, of course, but you're no misogynist. Actually, it's men who support feminism that are misogynists, as well as haters of God, since feminism is the opposite of Him having created women to marry, bear children, and guide the house {I Tim. 5:14}.

Women certainly are not blameless in the matter of feminism, but...how many women were on the SCOTUS when the Roe v. Wade ruling occurred? How many women were in Congress when the 19th Amendment {woman's suffrage, or the "right" to vote} was ratified? Feminists largely owe their rights, so to speak, to men, yet it's still not enough and they are still misandrists {i.e., man haters}.

Per I Corinthians 14 and I Timothy 2, Beth Moore is incorrect. Her claim is nothing more than "Christo-feminism."

Amen. It's sad and discouraging to me that this model has practically taken over the landscape in many Western countries.

Each time I've patronized Chick-fil-A, no matter the location, their customer service is simply excellent. It seems very genuine as well.

Why not just turn away from the TV altogether? It's not really a profitable way to spend time.

Turn unto the Lord and the things of God instead.

Yet another example of the confusion and madness resulting from the rejection of Scripture's simple definition {Genesis 2:24}.

The Bible commands us to abstain from all appearance of evil {I Thessalonians 5:22}.

Senator Harris is a wicked woman. She appears to have no sorrow--godly or otherwise--for laying with a married man to further her career. She is now legally married to a divorcee. May God have mercy on her and lead her to repentance.

And, of course, as a woman, she should not be the President, anyway! Society has suffered severely since women have largely abdicated their keeper at home duties as wives and mothers in favor of pursuing occupations, which is the place and domain of men.

40% of children born in the U.S. are raised by unmarried parents. So this should come as no surprise.
Among some specific people groups, it's even higher. No doubt divorcing and "remarrying" {adultery according to Jesus in the synoptic Gospels} is further contributing to confusion and lack of knowledge.

I'm very saddened by this display of cowardice and compromise. It has become all too common.

May the Lord grant Mr. Hoke the courage to stand, overcome, and prevail in preaching that which is right and good in God's sight. I've prayed for the Lord to reveal His direction regarding what to do and what is next unto the pastor and his family also.

“ Great Sermon! ”
I thank God for Biblical sermons on this subject matter {this one and the "Marks of a Virtuous Woman" sermon}. I can always use counsel to reject worldly womanhood and feminism in favor of God's will for women and having respect unto the place, position, and role He has given to the female. Praise the Lord and thank you for posting these sermons!

Right. It's all about the "fun" of fornication and no consequences...but what saith the Scripture?

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" {Galatians 6:7}.

Plain Old Tim wrote:
I despise feminism because its real aim is the feminization of men and the masculinization of women, which is clearly a satanic strategy to cause people to rebel against God. Vive la difference, because the difference was designed by the Creator for a reason.
Well said, Tim. Your comment sums up my reason for hating feminism. Indeed, God made them male and female. Rebellion against this makes a mockery of His creation and order. God will not be mocked.

The last time I checked, the movie was playing right around the corner from me. I still haven't made up my mind about whether to see it and keep looking for one of the posters here on SA to offer a review. That may help me decide, but I don't particularly enjoy going to the movies, either. The entertainment industry are haters of God who love death and make a mock at sin. That is why I prefer not to patronize them.

Seems to me, we are focusing on the consequences of an action rather then the action. Unwanted pregnancies are not the problem, it's the consequence of sex outside of marriage. Yes some married women are having abortions, but the majority are not. The problem is that to many people enjoy sex outside of marriage and would like the consequences of their actions to be hid by abortion rather then accept it. Again the root of the problem is our appetite for sin.
Good comment and observation. I've thought about this as well. Sermons specifically exposing fornication for the sin that it is and imploring repentance from it seem rather rare.
