The man was saved but the pigs were destroyed because of the demons. After Jesus delivered the man from the legion of demons, he was found clothed and in his right mind... I would warn anyone thinking of suicide: 1 John 5. Don't do it. It seems to literally be a sin leading onto death, and you never have a chance to recover once you do it.

Obviously we all hope not but party differences seem to be more important to politicians than good management of the nation.
Eight years of Democrat rule has exhibited how wicked they are and misguided their supporters are. But this is the nature of politics in the nations today. Morals have been "challenged" by many people (even churches) today and degenerate choices have become political ideologies - just to get a few more votes.
Strong leadership and government seems to have become a thing of the past. An apologetic style of policy making replacing back bones.
I pray the Lord will convert the Democrat party to truth, righteousness and morals.
