This is anexample of what direction the USA is going. It was taken from the AMERICAN POLICE BEAT:JAN 2010 "Failure to Tweet" leads to arrest for record excutive If you want to get a sense of just how fast technology is changing the game in terms of law enforcement, imagine a scenario where someone gets arrested for not using Twitter. But when you're dealing with thousands of 13-yr old girls, a Canadian pop star and an apperance at a mall, things can get pretty complicated. According to a report in Newsday, Canadian teen pop star Justin Bieber was due to conduct an album signing at the Roosevelt Field in Garden City, NJ. Thousands of teenage girls turned out to see their favorite pop star-so many in fact, that the frightened Bieber didn't even show up. There is nothing more dangerous than thousands of extremely excited teenage girls that just found out the teenybopper they came out to see is a no-show. With that in mind, the Nassau County police became concerned that the crowd might break the glass in store windows because of their high-pitched shreiking. Police then asked a senior vice president from Island Def, James A. Roppo, to send out a "tweet" to the kids advising them to go home. To be Continued |

Frank Dombrosky wrote: This ad will promote life. It will reveal to viewers that Tim Tebow's mother did not abort him as she was advised. The result is obvious to anyone familiar with this great athlete and outspoken Christian. The cry of anguish you hear during the ad will be that of Planned Parenthood as it is once again exposed for what it is - Baby Murder Inc. Amen, Frank! |

Mark M, Your comment is right on the "Mark"! "How often as Christians do we think we are clean because we didn't notice anything unclean? We walk daily touched by the filth of this world in everyday life, by our eyes, our thoughts, our hands, and our feet. That is why Jesus washed the disciples'feet. That is why the old disciple John, wrote to Christians; "IF WE SAY THAT WE HAVE NO SIN, WE DECEIVE OURSELVES, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN US. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:8,9 (KJV) Have you washed your spirtual hands, mind, and feet today?" Mike wrote: The creation is fallen as well as man. Bad stuff happens. Decay set in at the fall. Earthquakes happen because plates shift because the earth is decaying. God doesn't have to say, "Hmmm, I think I'll smack Haiti today." The faults are there, buried in the ground, waiting to happen. The continual calling of every natural disaster God's specific wrath is silly. When a tornado tears through some poor folks trailer park, is that God's judgment on them? If so, why are the casinos still standing in Los Vegas? Another mysterious way of God? Please. Great comment, Mike |

Another hour went by as it is now 12:21 PST. The new posting hour starts 15 minutes after you post a comment. So even though I started my last post at 11:02pm, I took over 15 minutes trying to edit it. That is why there are some omitted and incomplete words. And the comments have used up all the available spaces. Okay, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! While waiting to comment, I read this blog by Bob.that finished with these words. "May God bless the people of Haiti; it is a land where people have been paid for generations to curse others. Cordially in Christ, Bob" That blog was very well written and thought out and although he did not use the KJV, his points were right on the mark even with his perverted version he quoted from. There were a few verses that were taken out of context, but it was defintely worth reading. I will only say this about the perverted, watered down versions of the bible, unless Bob or anyone else believes that God can't perserve His inspired Word in English, he will be drinking "milk" and not eating "meat" until he steps "UP" to God's standrd with the AV! Those other versions including the NASB, Jim Lincoln, have NO authority because they contain changed or ommitted words! Nas Pah? |

Con't Sorry for the four hour delay as my phone rang and I got involved in some other business besides "yapping" on the internet that Al Gore said he invented. Anyway, If my last comment was incoherent, I apologize to those who believe that the author insults their intelligence with mispellings, don't start their sentences with capitol letters, etc. because I am from the same school as you! Those of you who were not born in this country and do not puncuate or spell correctly, this does not apply to you because you have made the effort to communicate in English. But those of you who who have failed the English class because you were too lazy to want to learn English and insult the reader with your improper grammar, this applies to you. (From now on, I will use a spell checker before I post a comment here but if I should misspell or transpose a letter it is because I have the early stages of "All Timers". I am joking on the square as I will be 77 on my next birthday, Feb. 15, 2010, Lord willing. I drive fast, take chances, have high blood pressure and I want to marry a young woman. My doctor just told me that could be "fatal", and I said, "If she dies, she dies!" In my next comment, I will acutally get back on topic! |

Mike wrote: Why John, haven't you heard? He would only feed and heal and cast devils out of the elect. The rest he hated. Mike, Now how can you be so crude to those who he choose before the end of the world to ask such a question? Well, one of the reasons this disaster could have occurred is that they"jixed" or "cursed" themselves not realizing it with their occult practices. Another is that President Obama is doing it for policital reasons since he has won the Nobel Peace prize last year, he wants to show the world that he wants to help out this nation that practices the occult, they the he is not prejucice toward them. "Russ Limbaugh has come under fire from both the right and left wing for saying that the earthquake played directly into Obama's hands, allowing him to look "compassionate. The host claimed the White House's response would bolster Obama's standing in the "light-skinned and dark -skinned black community." (If you want to read the full article, it is titled "Rush "meant what he said about Haiti" next to the full article on Pat Robertson: Haiti "cursed" by the devil".) got some flack from saying President Obama is trying to score political off the earthquake in Hatii. Both men sent them $100 million! Con't |

Brit Hume clarified this comments about Christianity to mention Jesus Christ. Now that is what witnessing is all about. Jesus said it twice about being ashamed of him in the Bible, and Mr. Hume you certainly made it clear to eveyone you are not asheamed of Jesus Christ!"Whosoever, therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38 (KJV) "For whosoever, shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels." Luke 9:26 (KJV) When something is mentioned more than once, Christians need to pay extra attention! May God bless you and your loved ones with good health Mr. Hume, in this New Year. May your light coninue to shine in a world full of darkness! |

UK John, this is for you from the Baptist Bread for Sunday Jan. 10, 2010. A coincedence you were on this subject today? I don't think so, bro. "Earth Day" "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein." Psalm 24:1 (KJV) Over three hundred times the Bible speaks about the earth, and never once are we told to fall in love with it, protect it, and so forth. Now, just so you know, I'm not for destroying the earth's environment. I believe we should take cae of what God has given us, but my friend, worshiping the earth is placing another god before God. See, the modern monkey man (evolutionist) worthips "Mother Earth" as a god and pays homage to her (Romans I). Thus, he will strive to "save the earth" by resorting to all kinds of rules and laws that will eventually cost you more than you can afford. This present heaven and earth are scheduled to "pass away"(Mat 24:35) sometime in the future and a new heaven and earth will come about. In II Pet 3:10, we are told it will melt away in fervent heat, but that is another lesson. Imagine Christians spending time trying to save the earth but avoiding trying to reach the souls of men which are eternal in their existence! God help us to get our priorities right! |

Michael Hranek wrote: "I do not know Bret Hume's theological background but he is right Buddism offers nothing like this nor does any other religion and he is right if Tiger Woods comes to 'Christian faith' (in my words, genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ) Tiger would be a blessed man and another example that Jesus came to seek and save the lost Amen, Bro Michael, It is good to see there are some here that understand that God's "grace" means "For 1)WHOSOEVER will call on the name of the Lord SHALL be saved." (Defined KJV) 1)whosoever (emphatic) It doesn't say "might" or "should" like some other versions may have changed the wording, but SHALL BE SAVED! And that applies to those who have committed a sin that most of us have never committed like adultery, murder, etc. but that doesn't mean we couldn't in the same circumstances. "Except for the "Grace" of God go I!" (One explanation for God's Grace is "undeserved merit".) We need to do our best to share the gospel with "Whosoever" and let God do the rest!!! |
