Romans 14:16-18 ACV Therefore do not let your good be maligned. (17) For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in Holy Spirit. (18) For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God, and approved by men.

Religion, even if it is Christian, never satisfies but only brings vanity and the need to perform. But a true relationship with God brings fulfillment and satisfaction.

This poor sap never received the heart of the Gospel as modeled from his parents nor from his spiritual leaders during his formative years.

Sadly, this man is one of many who have yet to call it quits.

And of course, I guess it would be difficult to solve your marriage difficulties while simultaneously having an affair (if the deacon is correct).

Main Stream Media and Democrats suggests that its Muslims who are the most persecuted religious group. It must be true if you've heard or seen it on the news. They also seem to indicate that it is Christians who are persecuting the Muslims. Pay no attention to what is happening in China, Nigeria, France, and other places cause that is all Christian propaganda.

From the article: However, the pope defended patriotism as a good thing. But he warned it can become perverted when "it involves the exclusion and hatred of others when it becomes a conflictual nationalism that builds walls, indeed even racism or anti-Semitism," according to Breitbart.com.

How dare the Pope criticize the Vatican State!

Just wait, Barry will be back in the Big Chair some day, some way, some how. Either through his wife or a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress gets rid of the POTUS two term limit. Or maybe the young socialist Climate Change sect will come to power in the U.N. and put him in the chair of the new position of World Leader with the mantra of "change you can believe in." Then he can renew and ramp up his spy campaign worldwide using not only the U.S. agencies of the FBI and the CIA but also expand to use the KGB, the Chinese MSS (Ministry of State Security, and even Interpol.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions. But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.
(1Ti 1:5-11)

I am sure all three have some contact with true believers in one way or another. Whoever they are must courageously warn them and tell the Truth in love. And we must pray for such men to step up and proclaim to them the Word with boldness.

Voting Republican at this point appears to be about on par with Israel allying with the Egyptians in an attempt to fend off the Assyrians.
And, the one-hundred-millionth of a say that is your vote is among the most ineffectual of means available to influence political outcomes. I would much rather favor the plan that involves placing Christ's Kingdom and Righteousness ahead of one's own, preaching the Law along with the Gospel, calling the nation to Repentance, giving godly counsel to men, chastising [and where warranted, rejecting] those who preach compromise and worldly thinking, and leaving the outcome of the political process in the very capable hands of King Jesus.
I wholeheartedly agree. Can not King Jesus ask His subjects to use the Democratic ballot box if He chooses? Isn't your one vote a potential tool of righteousness as much as your one dollar of unrighteous mammon can be used not only for your benefit but for the benefit of others?

Thanks Frank for replying to my comment. You misunderstand. I agree that God spoke and it was so. My premise is that God spoke an aged universe into existence. If you were able to see Adam the day that God fashioned him from the dirt he would literally be less than one day old but he would be a physically mature man.

Question: Is it possible that Almighty God can create a 14 billion year old universe in 6 days? Or a grown man (Adam) from dirt? Or His Son can create the six 30 gallon plus jugs of the best aged wine (without the TIME to grow a vineyard, harvest, press the juice out, and age it) in less than a split second?

The majority of what we see in space are much more than 6000 light years away.

Unfortunately, many cowardly Christians are avoiding this movie too. Far too many of us have either directly or indirectly participated in abortions either through the act itself, financing of it, consent, encouragement, or silence. And even before it gets to abortion far too many have participated in the baby's conception. In many Millennial households pets have become the new baby. The irony is many elect to not have babies because of income and still lots of money on taking care of their pets.

The first command was to "be fruitful and multiply" with sexual pleasure via marriage being the vehicle for having babies. Even Sarah, as old as she was, acknowledged this (Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
(Gen 18:12)). Pregnancy today is no laughing matter and having babies are no a reason for celebration. Satan the dragon is just laughing at our stupidity as he continues to devour our young.

The success of Unplanned over the weekend was not in the plans of the "main stream" media. They will continue to downplay and criticize it and its viewers despite the success. We must counter their action by seeing it again with our Millennial kids, relatives, and friends. That will be the best advertisement.

You have to handed to the Dems how they stick to the narrative. They never let the facts nor the truth get in their way. They do the same thing with what is and isn't life, what is or isn't male or female, what is or isn't marriage. The sad thing is the number of people who continue to listen to their swill.

I would also like to have Mueller brought into Congress and questioned by someone like Sen Graham. If it was me asking the questions: First I would thank him for his thorough investigation and summary of his findings. Then I would ask him to give his opinion of whether now, in hindsight, if the whole thing was worthy of his time and effort (and our money). If he would consider if he and the position of Special Counsel was used politically. That more caution be used in advocating for use of a Special Counsel. If he would recommend that Congress have hearings to investigate if FISA was misused by the Justice Dept. And finally, since the primary piece of evidence (the infamous dossier) originated with the other campaign if he would recommend that she be thoroughly investigated to see if her actions would rise to the point of Special Counsel; and would he lead if that was the case.

Jim, I have to admit that was a pretty good assessment on your part. The only problem is that many (if not most) women in the Democratic are militant in rocking empty cradles but also throwing unborn babies out with the bath water.

For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?
(2Co 2:15-16)

Authentic Christianity both attracts and offends, so John is right in that aspect. However, we are to "speak the Truth in love." Thus, Christianity that is mean is not authentic. I've witnessed John's mean-streak primarily against other saints (whom he has deemed as not saints) and he needs to apologize to his brothers and sisters on this side of eternity before the LORD humbles him before them on the other side. ("...I will make them come and bow down at your feet, and make them know that I have loved you.
(Rev 3:9)

I don't see how anyone was not charged! This is more than anarchy; it is mob rule.

(Mat 24:12)  And because iniquity (lawlessness) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

I witnessed the left marching and waving their anti-Trump signs in downtown Raleigh yesterday. And the abomination that is happening in Florida again sickens me. Fairness and legitimacy is not a part of the Left's vocabulary. Subterfuge and lying is.
