In this message, brother Henry is not exhorting the hearer as to How to attain conversion, or How a sinner is made righteous before our Holy God. Rather, he is stating the obvious reality (that is, obvious as revealed in the Word of God) as to the power of the quickening of the Holy Spirit in the experience of the sinner-saint, who is in union with His Representative (our Lord Jesus Christ), and which is made sure by the obedience, successful and effective accomplished work of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Bride. Our Lord Jesus has not put "lipstick on a pig" but as He was made sin for her, she. has been made the righteousness of God in Him. His Bride is as He is in the world. And thought she does not yet have her glorified resurrected body, the Shulamite (Gamer) is now made acceptable to the Father and the Son; she is as holy as she will ever be and that is a glorious work performed for her, on her and in her. She heartily confesses not a hand in this grand Divne work and rejoices in it. |

“ Jesus Came to Save Sinners ”
Nicodemus along with Peter, Thomas, Lot and other saints suffer at the hands of good intentions which miss the mark, and power of God in saving sinners. Brother Eric has taught us that "all" of God's elect in Christ are hidden disciples reserved in Christ until such time as God purposes to reveal Christ in them; translate them from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His Dear Son. We, like Nicodemus, were dead in darkness without strength nor the will nor the eyes to see Christ the Lamb: "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus". |

“ Excellent Sermon! ”
GOD, in Christ, has done a work for and in His people as revealed in HIS testimony to us. As up until the days of Isaiah, so it was in the days when Jesus Christ our LORD walked the earth, Luke wrote Acts and Paul wrote Romans, as it is in 2023 until HE comes again, as many as are ordained unto eternal like shall be saved. There are “gleaning grapes' that shall be saved in every age and time out of every kindred, tribe and tongue people and nation, and though their sins are as scarlet they shall be as while as snow (Is 1:18) for their is no difference between between Syrian, Samaritan, Gentile, Greek or Jew for all are sin and have sinned (in Adam) for God decreed and purposed the inheritance to Abraham by promise (Gal 4:23). GOD saves HIS gleaning grapes-the entire house of the true Israel (who fell in a representative-the 1st Adam) by a representative-Jesus Christ the RIGHTEOUS the 2nd Adam, as brother Frank often reminds us. There is no promise given for self-representation and acceptance before GOD only a curse. |

“ Excellent Sermon ”
Praising God for the revelation & earnest given brother Clay on the text detailing the NT commentary on the chapter as we heard & read of the predestinating purpose of God, in CHRIST, for his people in 740BC which was the same at the time Paul wrote Romans & Luke wrote Acts which remains the same when brother Clay preached (2009) as when brother Frank preached from the text (2014). Isaiah 17:7 was so reassuring "at that day" the time of love every chosen sinner will, by the work of GOD look to CHRIST our Maker whose "eyes shall"... What GOD commands HE provides in the new birth and HIS spirit residing in us, and "he shall not look ....". If GOD does the work of HIS gift of repentance then, the person trusting in CHRIST does not, like to dog, return to his vomit, as some men preach that the believer returns to his altars, the works of his hands, he groves and the images. Not if GOD does the work! We are by our old nature SIN and we do sin however as GOD eyes things, we are justified in HIS sight "if" it is HE who has done the work! I believe that and this message provided assurance that we are saved to the uttermost. Bless GOD. |

“ Great Sermon! ”
This message, by brother Eric, was extremely encouraging, whereby he has reminded us about everything the believer ...the saint has in Christ Jesus in whom we have experienced the most blessed and "generous" grace of God purposed towards us (chosen sinners) who were not seeking neither earned, merited nor secured by our effort. "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" .. "for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son". Now, being quickened and taught, by God, know this unmerited generosity whereby He reveals and convinces us that He has made us heirs and sons in His Son. But, not me only but everyone in whom my LORD has been set-up to represent. Now, if I truly am made to know and understand this generosity and graciousness then, I pray that He will work that in me towards other members of His Body, who are heirs and sons. If we are found in Him, and He is ALL then, I have everything God can give a worthless sinner made a saint. So, what hinders me from being generous and gracious to my brethren? We are never generous when it come to compromising the Gospel but we are charitable to sinners who oppose themselves while at the same time despise the doctrine. Help me to be a peacemaker in His Kingdom. |

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you brother Clay for this message.. “Of this man's seed (David) hath GOD according to HIS promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, JESUS” (ACTS 12:23). The promise is established upon the Seed promised which is Christ Jesus our LORD before HE formed the worlds, and was made-sure before HE “Having made known unto us the mystery of HIS will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in HIMSELF” (EPH 1:9) “According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our LORD” ( EPH 3:11). It is impossible for our tiny depraved minds to conjure-up, enter-into or process until God, according to HIS promise, raises us up in the new birth providing, for each, faith and grace to believe in THE PROMISED ONE. It is so glorious and beyond imagination (the wisdom of this world calls it foolishness & madness) yet GOD sends forth the Spirit of promise whereby we rest in everything HE has made know to us by HIS Spirit. Hence, we have this hope (Ephesians 1:17-20) so our confidence is CHRIST, and if we are found in HIM then, we possess CHRIST in us the hope of glory according to the purpose of GOD. |
