Could we stop calling them "queers" & "fags", and instead
just call them "homosexuals"?

I also try to avoid the terms "gay" & "lesbian", which are
far too euphamistic and accommodating when describing their
true condition/sin.

I do miss Reggie White, who was able to condemn homosexuality
from a Christian perspective; but even "common-sense" reactions
from this basketball player are better than no condemnation at
all...especially the locker room issue. That IS a real problem.

We've had presidents who were quakers
and deists, masons, catholic, etc.

I don't think we have too much to worry
about here.

I might have voted for Peter Uberoth
had he not withdrawn from CA governor
race so soon.

The priest himself doesn't transform it. God would be the only way for it to occur. However, it doesn't really transform, the cracker and the wine (unfermented grape juice hahahaha) doesn't actually physically change, the properties are the same, the texture is the same, but God does His thing to it.

Honestly, how could a priest change it indeed!

H Ellison, WRONG!!
That doesn't exclude God from the process! Don't you see? God is the process! God started it, he called and said come. He doesn't demand it, though he very well can and may very well demand it of some.

We were created by Him, in His image and with a form of His ability to reason and think things out ourselves. If we are all to be predestined at birth, what's the point of worrying about it? You'll either go up or down no matter what with predestination.

Oh not necessarily John Yurich, I forget which sermon it was but Alan Cairns preached one and mentioned Mother Theresa, made the comment that she "died and went to hell" what arrogance man.

He said that, I believe, because she was a Catholic. Primarily because he had just said right before that, that he did not know if she truly had accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.

You see, as long as they get all their information from the likes of Cairns, Paisley, Lorraine Bottener, etc they are going to be of the mindset that EVERYONE in attending Mass will be sent straight to hell for all eternity. Guilt by association I guess.

Oh sort of like the way power mad politicians like Ian Paisley have encouraged the protestant community in Northern Ireland to do things like not hire Catholics, not rent to Catholics outside of their own neighborhoods, etc. I guess it all comes down to where you come from and they types of men that run things in your own area. You see, man will ruin religion, be it protestant or Catholic, etc.

Personal beliefs can't help but influence how a person does "science".

I oftem imagine how challenging it would be to work on a space probe
with scientists eager to find ET life, which I don't believe exists.

That which to me is a complete waste of resources is to them among
the most vital uses of the very same resources.

I suppose I would have to accommodate their side as much as possible
while persuing common goals with them, or risk getting kicked-off the
project, especially after they discover my REAL reasons for not believing
in ET (Biblical authority), which I would have to tell them about if asked.

What an incredible balancing act, requiring much wisdom and discretion,
Christians in authority must perform. Thankfully, God can supply all
their need and guidence, and they're not on their own.

Gates is only doing what George tells him to do! Within the Masons, you can get to 'god" through many different paths, and that is ok. The god of George Bush is not the God, the Redeemer.

I believe that George holds to his father's Masonic views that you can get to god through any path that you choose. Tis "god" that he worships is not "I Am", it is Satan himself. The religious right needs to wake up and see that they have not once, but twice been used again for their vote and support! Test all spirits!

He and his wife intend "to leave Colorado and pursue master's degrees in psychology through online courses."
This is another problem in Christianity, we have poluted God's word is man's thinking. Psycology is the devil's tool to destroying the body of Christ. No Christian should ever submit himself to psycology, it doesn't belong in the church as all.

To you christians who think that this is a good thing.........you need to do your research. You need to wake up. We as christians are mandated by our Lord to questions all phylosophies, spirits, ideas, ect.

If there was ever a time for the body of Christ to support christian educations and home schooling, the time has now come.

Guys! Not even the doctors know how these shots work. They only take it on faith from the drug pushers that it works.

Since when do the drug pushers act like crack dealers and push mandatory vaccinations on innocent girls.

Your Christian view will dictate your view on vaccinations. Your have a responsibility as a parent to protect your children. A lot of shots come from aborted babies and have deadly chemicals in them like mecury and formaldayde.

This governor hasn't a clue! A Christian would not act like a dictator and bypass the rest of government.

Guys, it is time to wake up. Allmost all vacinations are worthless. In fact, most health benifets have been bought about by public health, not shots.

This "Christian" governor is linning his pockets with special intrest groups pushing their agenda.

Christians and non christians need to revolt against this policy!

Discerned Believer.

Would you PLEASE change your moniker to something a bit
less self-exaulting.

Your God and mine hates pride, so let's you and I at least
try to accomodate him with more God-glorifying aliases.

I think I finally figured it out.

The problem with this particular survey
(and perhaps the one submitting it) is
not the nature of the question, but the
nature of the answers from which to choose.

Notice how the question deals with both
God and sinners but that All available
answers focus only on God and his actions.

It's a classic, if unintentional set-up
for one to try to impune God rather than
deal with one's own shortcomings.

If we want to focus on the REAL "love/hate"
relationship with God, we need to study
Romans 7, where even the mighty apostle
Paul freely admits continuing struggle with
his fleshly nature long after his spirit
has been regenerated.

As long as we're here on earth, we who believe
will continue to experience the struggle of our
2 natures, one of which loves God while the
other one hates Him.

THIS is where the focus of any "love/hate"
relationship analysis between God and man
should lie.

Most influential "Christian"???

No mean feat, considering he's up
against the likes of Rick Warren
and the Grahams (Billy, and his
2 kids), Pat Robertson, and a host
of others.

Yes it really does. Read the verses, honestly without your preconcieved notions on what the Church actually teaches. I haven't always been Catholic, actually I grew up in pseudo intellectual fundamental Protestantism and was staunch about my beliefs, that is until I actually looked at the what the church teaches. For a bunch of Johnny come Latelies Protestantism sure has done a great job of usurping the Church that Christ started here on Earth. Let's see, with 2000+ years here compared to 500ish years.....

Speaking as someone who lives in Alabama, the majority of people saw through him and could tell he was using God to try to advance his personal goals. You see, judges are elected here and for a long time all someone had to say was they were a Christian and that was good enough, however Roy Moore was nothing more than on e of those good ol' boys who thought he could use God for his own phony career motives.
