Great Sermon! Very interesting. I enjoyed it but under a cloud of sadness for that stiff necked mindset in the young church. Good point on the danger of times of transition. Also, those are six good observations by that Pastor Lyons. I understand that it's reported that not a single true believer perished in Jerusalem in its AD 70 destruction, but all heeded Jesus' words in Matthew 24 and did flee so were not imprisoned within the walls for those months of horror. Also makes me wonder if those pharisees held onto their arrogance to their detriment and death. Just wonderings.
Great Sermon! Very good. Thank you. It is some of the most solemn words from the lips of our Lord Jesus Christ. A very good practice to examine ourselves that we are striving and have not slacked off.
Great Sermon! I am really engaged in this tremendous series, and have grown to love the book of Daniel through it. In the second half of this sermon as you spoke on prayer, I was deeply moved and blessed. I don't recall that incident on those missionaries, but such a precious thing your dad did. Your daddy must feel deeply blessed that God regenerated you as he hears you expounding God's Holy Word.
Great Sermon! It is indeed a marvelous, ordained incident in the early church. Thank you for your wonderful retelling of it, your expounding on it, and your carrying us right into that large room with Peter, Cornelius and the others. I'm grateful to have been raised a Catholic to have been taught about and to be convinced of a supreme Being, but I like Cornelius had devotion for a God I did not know. I guess I was a bad Catholic as I don't recall knowing of the idol and the toe kissing. How truly offensive, vile, and just yucky unsanitary.
Great Sermon! Amen and Amen. It's a very fearful thing for a nation to fall into the hands of the Living God. A real straight shooter with the Word of God.
Great Sermon! A thought planted and ringing through my mind from another sermon the other day has been reiterated and watered by this your sermon. "There is joy in obedience." very good message. Thank you. Revive me, O Lord.
POWERFUL POWERFUL Obviously, Holy Spirit has enveloped you in His unction there in Africa. A powerful indictment of us of doubt and discouragement of whom I am chief at times. Thank you Bro. V for sharing. Keeping you and yours in prayer... And for the library.
Great Sermon! I didn't know it was 10 years hence. You never fail to offer some very interesting points and observations. I particularly appreciate your exhortation regarding the fear of man. Thank you for another very good sermon.
