So this professor works with mental health providers in regards to trans children? Did they just admit that it's a mental issue?!

Opium in America too. A certain species of poppies isn't legal to grow due to its opium potential. Tis a shame. They're beautiful flowers.

The bigger question is, does the government have the right to tell you what you are or are not allowed to do with your own body? Protecting us from ourself is beyond their biblical jurisdiction. It shouldn't have been illegal in the first place.

Paul was well versed in secular philosophy (Acts 17). Studying with a biblical worldview makes Romans 1:19,20 come to life. To shun classics, whether Christian or secular, is foolish. What's there to fear if you know the truth? Read your bible, pick up a copy of Shakespeare, and keep your nose ground level.

If it's not your child you shouuldnt be forced to pay one cent for it regardless of wealth status. The responsibility of caring for a child falls on the parent. Charity giving is acceptable and biblical when needed, but force?! Nope.

B, "Swords were carried as a tool and to deter danger, doubtfully to attack."

No different than a gun.

The statistics you speak of, Adriel, are being committed in areas such as Chicago, places with high gun regulations. Most of those are gang/drug related. Sandy Hook isn't in the same category. Neither is typical self defense. Peter's mistake was the timing not the act. Why didn't Jesus rebuke Peter for carrying the sword before the garden incident if his armed state was wrong? Jesus's rebuke was because Peter was interfering with the plan of salvation; Jesus HAD to be arrested. It's not the same as self defense in any other situation. Thou shall not kill means out of pure evil, murder, like Cain killed Abel, not, again, out of self defense or war (please see Old Testament).

*those that are governed and saved from themselves by the government than you are lost, unintelligent, incapable of logical thinking (but please don't take these as the insults they are). And somehow, the God that is girded with a sword says men is grasping at straws if they defend their use of a sword because God spoke to one man.aaahh! Side A won't convince side B. Side B won't convince side A. Perhaps a cease fire is in order?

James, right! For a God that's against the use of weapon He sure does use them a lot in reference to Himself. Psalm 45:3 even has Him girding one...of course God has no need for a literal sword, but the example is there. How it can it be wrong if God does it? David, the man after God's own heart, cut a man's head off with a sword and slayed Goliath with a sling . Samson prayed that God would give him the strength to knock the building down and God obliged. Solomon 3:8 makes mention of all men being armed. A woman even threw a rock on a man's head and it wasn't wrong. Exodus talks of defending ones house against a thief. Jesus told his disciples to buy a sword. Jesus used a whip to drive men out, that's pretty violent. But, somehow, the God that doesn't change changed His mind on the use of weapons. Somehow, what was written before was written for our learning doesn't apply to us. Somehow, every single case of weapon usage should be a case of martyrdom even if the evil doer isn't attacking due to ones religious beliefs. Somehow, the powers to be are the powers to be unless they're evil than they're not the power to be. Somehow, mental gymnastics to ignore all of Scripture, all of he bloodshed, all of the History, all of God's word, is fine, and if you don't agree with those that a

I suppose you're right on this one thing, John. Self righteousness and hypocrisy are not laughing matters, though the mental gymnastics required to make it anything but that is quite mind blowing.

Now, if you'll excuse me I've got my own doormat to sweep under- you know more important things to tend to than say, worrying over if someone "the pond over" has the freedom to use a loud tool. I think I'll even take my kids out today to get some tool lessons. It comes in mighty handy when an angry hog is around or the druggie next door is trying to kick our door in.

Not getting back into the gun debate, just pointing out hypocrisy...

B said, "We were called to bless. Insult never comes with this."

Also B, "It is obvious you do not have a clue how logic works....along with reading their politics with insight, before they can perceive the folly of this set frame of mind....Please, be smart" (limited scrolling back via the app).

Pot, quit calling the kettle black.

Bye, same moniker

*continued

Jesus wasn't rebuking anyone on self defense but rather with interfering with His plan. Scripture has been provided showing that self defense is perfectly acceptable. As has been pointed out by Unprofitable Servant, apples and oranges.

Don't tread on me.
