Great Sermon! excellent truth that is much needed. Yes, there is only one race, the human race! It's sad to see so many being inoculated with evolution, which stems from the pit of hell.
Darwin's theory was just that....a 'theory'. Sinners will believe a lie over God's truth every time, to their own demise.
humbling message This message was a blessing; we forget how vile we are and how desperately we need grace and mercy. We forget it is CHRIST that cleanses us from ALL sin, and not our self-righteous prideful hearts. Humility is sorely lacking, may God truly humble His elect.
Excellent message How true, men do NOT save, God does. Yet, in today's 'Christendom', we have many who accredit mortal men with saving them, even when the message is tainted with works. With men, it is impossible - which is why any work, such as decisionism, invitations, walking aisles, all branches of free will - do not save.
May the Lord continue to bless you and your ministry Chalan Hetherington, you are one of the few who tremble at His word and are faithful to our Lord in your preaching.
This is truth! This type of preaching is rare, and very unpopular, because it is true truth. A famous evangelist just died, and the world spoke so well of him, including 'Christians'. Yet, this man preached a message that was of man and not God. I thank you Pastor that you have the courage to state the truth, no sinner is ever saved based on anything they do! How unpopular this truth is today, all gnash their teeth at grace and desire an ear tickling message instead.
May the Lord bless you and keep you faithful to His word.
Excellent This is excellent preaching, this message is so very much needed. So many today embrace those who are unrepentant, those who cleave to sin and make excuses for it, who hold to erroneous theology. The sin of pride is rampant today, we ALL must guard against sin!
The doctrine of biblical separation is scoffed at, many who profess Christ embrace professors of religion based on nothing more than that profession.
Worldliness- an absence of the fear of God, beginning with those who refuse to separate from others who are guilty of unrepentant sin. Well said Chalan. How rampant is this today!!
It is a blessing from God on high to hear unction-empowered preaching, it is scarce in this day. May the Lord bless you and keep you. This sermon should be listened to by ALL who make a profession of Christ.
Great Sermon! This is an excellent message, and very much needed today. I like when you stated you cannot offer salvation - this is a profound truth that most miss! Yes, salvation is of God, it is a gift, praise God those He's called to preach like Pastor Hetherington understand this.
Thank you for staying true to His word, may God richly bless your ministry.
Great Sermon! This message is excellent; it gives a deeper insight into who God is. Yes, we all should be in awe of this majestic and holy God! The flippancy many have concerning the majestic God of heaven and earth is inexcusable.
May we never, ever worship God in a light hearted manner. God forbid we should do so...
Great Sermon! Another great message that points sinners to God and His saving grace, NOT man's 'free will'. There simply isn't two gospels; the greatest need of the hour is to get back to the biblical doctrines of grace and way from the damning works based gospel that leads back to Rome.
Great Sermon! Another excellent message on biblical separation, which is rare these days. Many choose to embrace and be apathetic rather than call out and separate - this is both dangerous and deadly. Praise the Lord for the remnant who WILL separate, who WILL call out and who WILL seek to honor God.
Powerful sermon I found it refreshing there was no mention of God 'loving' these penitent sinners, no mention of repeating a 'sinner's prayer', or making a decision. Here's what happened when God moves through Spirit-empowered preaching of God's truth-'So we went down the passage and she gently opened the door and there is the farmer on his knees and again he kept repeating, ‚ÄúGod, can you have mercy on me? Can you have mercy on me? I seem to feel that hell is too good for me.‚ÄĚ .... When I went into the pulpit I found a young woman, a graduate of Aberdeen University who was at the dance and now she is lying on the floor of the pulpit crying, ‚ÄúIs there mercy for me? Is there mercy for me? Is there mercy for me?‚ÄĚ...brokenness and cries for mercy are the TRUE SIGNS that God is moving, He is working to save sinners. This is an amazing message that makes today's 'evangelists' and 'preachers' look like pansies, using carnal means to 'save', passing out 'tracts' instead of compelling sinners by mouth, and leaving God completely out of the equation by putting the means of being 'saved' upon the sinner's 'free will'. America is a dry and barren land indeed, many self-appointed preachers and evangelists will answer for their carnal ways and fleshly method of preaching!
Great Sermon! This is a sermon that fits today's 'Christianity'. It's refreshing to hear a preacher speak of biblical separation, and to point to the lateness of the hour.
May God be glorified and bless the faithful men who stand firm on His truth.
Great Sermon! This kind of preaching and boldness is scarce; today's spineless Christianity is no Christianity. The enemy are the 'religious'; the ecumenist, the legalist, the Arminian, the Roman Catholic. The elect will suffer, to the praise and glory of God!!
