Obviously, spiritual problems need a spiritual solution, but God instituted civil goverment and we are simply using the tools God has given us to prevail upon those "ministers of God" to do their civic duty as magistrates as mentioned in Romans 13. I see no reason why I cannot do both: preach the gospel to every creature and also hold government officials accountable to their God-given responsibilities.

Voting is a responsibility just as paying taxes. God uses people to bring about change. We can't expect God to do what He has called us to do. Whether it's the preaching of the Gospel or the betterment of society through God-ordained civil government, God works through people, be they preacher or civil magistrate. They are both God's ministers and must be raised up through the means God has appointed which, in the case of civil magistrates, is through the ballot box. If you want godly government you have to work for it as well as pray. That's God's way.
